19.01.2022 In 2020, Bibles Plus packs were more vital than ever. While typical forms of persecution continued, the pandemic brought additional struggles for Christians in ...some restricted nations. Christians were often among the first to lose their jobs and in some countries were denied government provided aid. We received many requests for help. Thanks to our supporters, VOM workers and partner ministries distributed packs to more than 3,600 families in Pakistan, Iran, China, Philippines, India and Myanmar. This year, VOM Australia hopes to distribute Bibles Plus packs to persecuted believers in China, Iran, Pakistan, Myanmar, Philippines, India and North Korea. 04.01.2022 Urgent prayer request: Gross insecurity has paved the way for the Islamic terrorist organisation, Boko Haram, to expand into Nigeria's Northwest, creating a cri...sis of monumental proportions. During the last week of April, in what appears to be a Ramadan Offensive, Boko Haram seized control of some 42 communities in the far east of Niger State. The villagers were defenceless because in the weeks prior, Boko Haram had looted and sacked three military bases in the region. The jihadists struck without mercy: killing, wounding, looting, burning, torching crops and seizing women.
