25.01.2022 A heads up when buying a caravan or Motorhome. Make sure you record any conversations between yourself and the seller more so a dealer from a caravan yard at Burleigh QLD. A nice couple hired me to inspect their new van. We had a particularly bad experience with the dealer when defending the buyer (Our customer) who purchased a new van from them. When trying to get a lot of things rectified that came up in the inspection report before hand over. The dealer ( part owner manage...r) of the yard turned very savage and bluntly refused to fix anything on the van to the point of the dealer feeling threatened by me. He was making threats of physical violence and telling me to leave the yard and never come back. All this was unfolding in front of the customer while they were recording. The dealer had little to no regard for them. As a result of this another person buying a caravan from the same yard got word of this event and has pulled the pin on their purchase from the same dealer from their bad service and poor workmanship. So it pays to have it all on a recording more so when it comes time to get your deposit back or getting anything fixed or rectified. Pm. me if you want to know who this yard is.

25.01.2022 Van all deliverd to her very proud new owners. We take it easy on the return trips. We make regular stops to check the van out so its delivered in the condition it was picked up in. We conduct a 6 point safety check on every van before making any journey to its destination 1. Bearings checked, 2. brakes checked, 3. hitch and safety chains inspected 4, wheel nuts checked, 5. lights checked, 6. Tyres and tyre pressure checked. and a general look over for any loose or hanging objects. We also got the job of fixing the few minor issues that came up in the inspection.....Too easy

23.01.2022 They claim this van as being fully insulated.....dont think so

23.01.2022 We found a few things nothing major Inspecting this van for a customer in Cairns.

20.01.2022 Flew to townsville qld inspected a motorhome for a customer in Brisbane. All went well a few issues found nothing that cant be fixed. Another Happy customer. (Attached is feedback from the customer. Posted in my other pages.) I have.Cant thank Matt enough for his commitment and professional service in helping me find my motorhome. He is extremely thorough and always puts his customer 1st, He inspected 2 motorhomes for me , the 1st one I probably would have brought if I had...nt had Matt do an inspection, Everything looked pleasing to me but once Matt examined it he found a number of structural things wrong that would have caused me a lot of heart ache in the future, not to mention the cost...in fact I would have brought a lemon. The 2nd van was in Townsville which meant Matt flying to Townsville and staying the night. As Matt lives in CHILDERS this is a big trip, for him as he has to fly out of Brisbane and his return flight didnt get in until almost midnight. Matt always looks at trying to keep the costs down for his customer even though it can be a major inconvenience for him. Matt was an absolute gem in giving me advice with with my negotiations on the 2nd van , providing me with the detail I needed to get the best price possible. If you are investing in a motorhome/ caravan, new or 2nd hand, do yourself a favour and invest in Matts services first...you certainly wont be disappointed. Rhonda ...Ormiston. Qld. See more

20.01.2022 We finished off a repair job today from a previous post. Putting it out there this is one of the major things we look at in our Pre Purchase inspections to help prevent this kind of thing happening to you.

17.01.2022 Inspected a motorhome for a customer in Darwin. A few issues found the seller was accommodating with a price drop due to the issues. Over all the talvor body was framed well and has a full fibreglass roof. As part of our services we will be picking it up for the customer in Darwin taking it back to our work shop and will be rectifying most of the issues on the report then storing it until the customer flys down to pick it up.

17.01.2022 Another win for the customer this van has minor issues and passed the inspection surprisingly well. Seller agreed to attend to most of them before handing it over.

17.01.2022 We have started a support group to help people with buying a caravan or motorhome. Do not hessitate in sending through a request to join it has a lot of useful hints, tips and support on what to look out for when buying your RV.

15.01.2022 We Fly down to Melbourne on Wednesday to inspect a new caravan. We go any where in Australia flying budget flights and staying in budget accomodation to keep the price down for the customer. That way you get me and my 15 years experience building and repairing vans and Motor homes and my passion for the industry, not someone just their with their hand out at the end of the week.

15.01.2022 Just a couple of photos of a motorhome we recently inspected was very neat and tidy found only a few minor problems came up on the report otherwise was kept in good condition.

14.01.2022 Another successful inspection on a caravan in brisbane for a great customer in Melbourne. We even picked up the van from the sellers place. We made a few repairs that came up on the inspection report while being stored in our yard until we organised transport to the customer in Melbourne. And at the end of the day we have achieved our goal in starting up this side of the business a few years ago, to prevent people from getting ripped off.

13.01.2022 On my way back to Childers from an inspection in Coffs Harbour. Pisses me off seeing people get ripped off with over priced buckets of SH.....T and the lengths people have to go through to get anything back or rectified. Even to the point of the owner having to fix things themselves on a new van. The more we can get out there the more people we can prevent it happening to them.

12.01.2022 Flew to Melbourne to Inspect a new Avida caravan for a lovely couple before they made final payment. found quite a few minor things wrong. The dealer was happy to come to the party and rectify most of the issues found. Another happy customer that was more than satisfied with our service.

12.01.2022 Some things we found wrong with a coromal corvair off road most of the major issues where caused from the original owner put 2 large 4x4 tyres mounted back to back off the rear bumper causing the whole van to over flex in the center of the walls and floor being a pop top didnt help as there is less structural strength at the top of the side walls particularly when there is no cupboards to help with support.

11.01.2022 Here are some pics from an inspection we did on the same three caravans that three very nice couples ordered from the same yard in Brisbane. Thanks guys for getting me in for the inspection there was a lot of issues.

11.01.2022 We have created another page to benefit Caravan and Motorhome owners. Its an information and recommendation page about anything RV. Please like and share thanks.

10.01.2022 Hi all due to the Corona virus we will be stopping Rv Inspections until further notice. In the course of time we are more than happy to answer any questions or information regarding the RV industry. Thanks all for your support and understanding....... stay safe..........

09.01.2022 This is why I created RV pre purchase Inspections Australia. Another person finding out the hard way having to fork out more money on a van full of wood rot. This person did NOT get a pre purchase inspection as they were unaware this type of service existed. A saying we hear time and time again.....I wish I knew about your service before I bought this money pit ..... my new saying is they are like a boat if they are not sealed well they sink and keep on sinking. The cause of this damage is due to the much hated foam seal tape used around all the windows, doors, storage boxes and in this case around the base of the water fillers. Some Vans do not use this tape but the ones that do result in this. We will be rallying towards a ban on this type of sealing method.

08.01.2022 We flew to cairns hired a car drove 2 hours south and inspected a caravan for a customer in murgon qld. A few thing wrong as you would expect with a van of its age. Found nothing major as it has bin under cover most of the time. The biggest thing to watch is all the glue goes hard and loses its bonding while in a shed for long term then when its time to bring it out in to the elements it will leak like a seive. Photos some of the things found in the inspection below.

08.01.2022 A post from our other page https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1584303788304094&id=522793404455143

07.01.2022 Inspected a caravan at Robina qld for a couple from Cairns. This is the things we found wrong with it in the inspection. The seller failed to disclose to the buyer that it was involved in an accident and was repaired under insurance. If he was more up front and advised the buyers from the start. Instead we found it in the inspection which made it look worse for the seller. The buyers became even more concerned as to what else hes not telling them about this van.

07.01.2022 We performed a pre purchase inspection on a next gen caravan at Green RV Forest Glen Sunshine Coast . A few issues came up in the report. Eg inadequate wall frame support and some cracks in the plywood surface But a big shout out to Green RV for acknowledging the faults found, rectified some on site and will be rectifying others in due time. at end of the day this is what we do best and end up with one happy customer.

07.01.2022 One of several caravans we inspect each day this one stood out more than others. And the sad part was the sales manager / owner was presenting it for sale with all these faults as it was with a huge price tag. Also being none the wiser himself about the faults until i showed him in detail. These caravan sales yards hate me when i give it to them about the state of a caravan they are selling love doing it and love my job.

06.01.2022 Inspected a 2015 Roma Elegance in Brisbane for a nice couple living in Western Australia. these are some of the things we found.

06.01.2022 Attached is some very useful information from a previous customer. They required our services then packed up everything and are on the road love your work. Thanks heaps for mentioning us in the post.

06.01.2022 Arrived in sydney van inspected came up good just a few minor issues nothing that will cost an arm and a leg to fix. Now on our way back to the vans proud new owners.

05.01.2022 Some of the many things found on yet again a brand new van. Poor workmanship. Pm me for any make and model info on our posts.

04.01.2022 Following is some very positive feedback on an inspection we did in far north qld thanks heaps Heather. Hi Matt, We have finally received our caravan via transport - from Hull Heads Qld, that you inspected in August We cannot Thank you enough. We were very concerned spending such a large sum of money on an asset that we personally had not seen. You were so explicit in your communication with us and the reports we received on the van were so detailed it felt as if we had com...pleted the inspection ourselves. We did purchase an older van and were concerned about all the requirements we would need to complete all aspects of the sale, transport and start changes to the original van, but we need not have been. You were very courteous in your time and explained all the processes step by step and nothing was ever too hard to explain and your wealth of knowledge on Caravans astounds me. We would like to thank you for your important role in the purchase of our dream caravan. Your professionalism during the entire process was above and beyond what we could ever have expected and we have recommended your services to everyone we know and are more than happy to shout from the rooftops how amazing and successful your services are. We wish you all the best in the future, and hope to visit your part of the world one day in our long and happy Caravan travels. Thanks again. See more

03.01.2022 Hi all as of today RV Pre Purchase Inspections Australia Wide will be donating $5 from every RV Inspection to Lemon Caravans & RVs in Aus to help support their site.

02.01.2022 Following is some feedback from an inspection we did. Makes it all worth while knowing that what we do save people the heartache and thousands of dollars. Hi Matt You inspected our New Age Big Red in June at Kunda Park. We just wanted to say thanks, and let you know that New Age, on your recommendation, siliconed around all the windows and put a cover over the wires under the van, free of charge to us. So were pleased we had the van inspected prior to handover, and those thi...ngs were done. Thanks again. Shirley & Barry See more

01.01.2022 On our way to Sydney in the bus we like to save the customer on accomodation expenses. To inspect, pick up and deliver a caravan for a nice couple in Agnes Waters Qld. One of the many things we do.... And we love it.

01.01.2022 Inspected a BRAND NEW jayco journey outback. here are some of the many I mean many issues found. The Jayco salesman repeating comment when shown the issues was 1. they are built to a price and 2. The factory of unskilled workers are to blame. Instilling no confidence in the customers who were there in the middle of hand over.
