23.01.2022 We are happy to announce that today marks the completion of an investment deal to secure substantial, increased, large manufacturing capability for the QPE ADVANCED MACHINING and FABRICATION businesses. A large part of this investment is the installation of five large CNC Milling machines with X Axis capacities of between 3 and 8 metres as well as additional large 5 Axis Milling Centres. QPE GROUP has commenced hiring and training of new staff who will drive this high-end equ...ipment. 11.01.2022 CAPABILITY AS A BRAND For the past 7 months, we have been working hard to realign our brand however, this change has nothing to do with logos, slogans, marketing material or websites. Our clients and industry in general know that QPE has a habit of attracting projects which are complex or require machining and fabrication to high tolerances. This is our speciality, this is our brand.... Usually, this type of work comes in the form of small to medium-sized components however, last year our friends at MacTaggart Scott Australia challenged us in something new, the fabrication of large exotic material components into larger assemblies and then the machining of those assemblies to extremely high tolerances - no different than aerospace parts. To achieve this, we have taken laser tracking to the milling bed so as to validate machining in real-time. This single job showed us where we need to be and what we need to do in order to align our capabilities to both the upcoming SEA Programs and where we perceive both the Mining and Oil and Gas Industries are headed.
