07.01.2022 Smooth Move Smart Trough powered by Wyggle (https://www.facebook.com/wyggle/) is in further development and will monitor water depth in trough and flow rate to ensure the trough is effectively delivering water to stock. In addition the trough can use the NLIS ear tag to record which stock have been to the trough to water, as well as the time and duration they watered. Importantly the Smart Trough also sends alerts for those stock that are absent and have not watered. All this information is included in the Wyggle water module and sent to an internet connected phone or computer. Note the solar panels on guards to power the trough. Smooth Move mobile troughs continue to provide reliable service in the field providing water for to up to 400 head of cattle per trough.
