25.01.2022 Astrid (GSD) - Board and Training Package Astrid is a brilliant young female GSD who just completed a boarding and training package here at Precision K9 Training. Another dog that arrived with zero recall and an issue with control around high value distractions - Take a look at the results!... Astrid did brilliantly and now has the life skills to help her to enjoy freedom in everyday life, around ANY distraction whilst still having the ability to follow instructions including recall when the need arises. 24.01.2022 Kaia- 11 Week Old Puppy Another week into Kaia's development here at Precision K9 Training. Whats New? - Continuing Rhythmic and Powerful Heeling with free movement , starting to progress with teaching turns etc.. ... - Adding a change of pace (Jogging) without the loss of any precision or attitude. Puppy regulates her rhythm to maintain position and work with the handlers pace. -Targetting exercise to be utilised within various applications later in the dogs life. - Continued progression of Center formal heeling without any lure or help. - Extended barking on command to build endurance not only for barking but also teaching the puppy to work hard to earn reward. 22.01.2022 ***Snake Avoidance Training- Mandurah 2020**** The weather is starting to heat up and with it snake season is fast approaching. Precision K9 Training will be conducting snake avoidance training in Mandurah once again this year. We will be offering group training sessions for both new clients completing the full training course, as well as refreshers for those who have already completed the snake avoidance course. New clients conducting the course will be exposed to both the ...visual and odour components of the training over a 2-day course. Training will be conducted at Kingsley Fairbridge Reserve, Halls Head. Please find below dates for the upcoming training course: 1) Session 1: Sunday 18th October 2pm 2) Session 2: Sunday 25th October 2pm Please note if you are attending a refresher course then only one session is required. The refresher course is vital to ensure your beloved dog has retained the important lessons from their initial Snake Avoidance course and remains avoidant of snakes this season.
