23.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who donated I've managed to raise just over $900 and together at Teralba Fire Station we've raised almost $4000. Which is an awesome effort. Heading off early tomorrow morning to climb the tower. Thanks again for the support, and it's not too late to donate

23.01.2022 I'm sure everyone seen my previous post, this is what it's all about. I take on the climb tomorrow so today's the last day for donations. If you could spare even a couple of dollars it all makes a difference. I'll put a link in the comments or scroll down to my previous post. It's very easy to donate and you can use PayPal if your worries about donating on line. Cheers Dale

18.01.2022 Poor maintenance leads to piss poor performance!

17.01.2022 A lot of people don't know but when I'm not fixing outboards I help out in my local community as a retained firefighter at Teralba Fire Station. This Saturday we are creating awareness and raising money in an effort to find a cure for MND Motor Neuron Disease. I plan on walking up the stairs of the iconic Sydney Tower all 98 floors which is over 1500 stairs and I'll be wearing full fire fighter kit weighing around 20kg. It's going to be a mammoth task but the cause is well ...worth the effort. If you could spare a few $$ to make a donation and support me to help make a difference to the people and families of people suffering from this dreadful disease! Click the link below any donation will help big or small. Thanks very much!!

13.01.2022 A perfect example of why Preventive maintenance matters. This customer services his engine every 12 months regardless of the hours the engine does. This year only doing 20hrs since last service. Signs of moisture on the lower cylinder in 4 stroke Outboards are generally a sign of the engines been running too cold. In this case the thermostat stuck open. Without routine servicing this would have gone un noticed and caused additional wear on the engine over a period of time.

12.01.2022 Hey mate, Just after a couple of donations for our climb. Anything is appreciated.

11.01.2022 Who likes go water skiing , then here is a step up for you

10.01.2022 Blowy old day on the lake today. Strong cold westerly winds. Not always fun working on the water.

06.01.2022 So I managed to make it up and it was a pretty tough gig but so worth it. As I was leaving I was randomly thanked by a lady and her husband who was in a wheel chair and I'm guessing suffering from Motor Neuron Disease felt pretty chuffed together we raised over $4000 Thanks again everyone!

04.01.2022 Great boat for anyone interested

02.01.2022 Sorry to anyone who was un able to get in touch with me in the lead up to Xmas. November and December were crazy. I’ll try to get back to everyone who left messages over the next few days and see what we can organize for the new year. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year.
