23.01.2022 P40 Wing Project Aux spar Fwd and Aft are in trial fit up to the final assembly for production buy-off. Normally we would build these AUX spars earlier however the original engineering drawings have missing dimensions - therefore we had to design all the interface structure in 3D CAD first to then finalize the Aux spar designs. Good news - they align without need for modification!

22.01.2022 P40 Wing Project The wing has now been drilled to full size holes. Next phase is pull down and painting of all the individual components between spars 3-4-5. Final phase will be riveting it all together.

21.01.2022 Both P40's at the final fit out stage have their wings re-attached for the last time in the manufacture process. The single and twin seat variants are shown side by side and reminiscent of a historical photo when more than one of these wonderful aircraft were built simultaneously at the same facility. In a number of months these aircraft will go through flight test. We also have other P40's here at various stages of the build with wing and fuselage packages being completed.

19.01.2022 Final wing join for our 2 seat P40 customer. During fit up the wing fuselage are joined and separated a couple times to verify joints and systems, The mate joint sections are cleaned from foreign object debris and finish prepped for final bolt up!
