03.01.2022 We love the Taurus Residence in Point Piper on Sydney Harbour. Another stunning architectural work by @durbachblockjaggers who like to push the boundaries for their clients to create something very unique. Collaborating on the interior design was @richards_stanisich who eloquently merged together the many raw materials and detail finishings. From the bold concrete walls, together with the stone, timber and steel, it gives the home a luxurious earthy feel as it stands on the ...water foreshore. The building construction was superbly executed by long standing experts @bellevardeconstructions whose own love of great architecture drives them to build spectacular architectural homes. The timber floor throughout the home provides the base for the striking concrete curves to soar. Its stylish simplicity gives a fresh welcoming presence to a space that will greet the family each day. The client wanted an experienced and trusted designer to help them find something unique. A taste of the project is clearly evident just in the home entrance that was thoughtfully created by interior designer @alexandrabrowninteriors . On entering the residence, you are g...reeted with the inviting warmth of timber flooring at your feet. This is complemented by the unique flat and fluted fresh white wall panelling - all with exceptional detailing and craftsmanship in the complete installation. The white wall panelling that calms and captivates you is cleverly laid in an offset pattern arrangement with narrow border lines that merges into the solid staircase railing. It creates a subtle interest that intrigues but doesn't overwhelm. Next you are greeted by the feature fluted walling detail that leads you to discover more of this luxurious home.
