01.01.2022 These are some photos of a job in Mt Lawley, which on completion was decided to be entered into the "DULUX EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2014" There are a total of 6 separate DULUX colours used, 5 in the ceiling alone! All in a similar colour palate, the ceiling dome being painted a quarter strength of the colour on the ceiling itself, then a gold metallic paint around the inner and outer rim of the ceiling dome. The wall covering on the lower half of the walls is "LICRUSTRA" Specialized Wall Covering, a wall paper of sorts, almost 3D in effect, and imported from England. The LINCRUSTA is then sealed with an acrylic sealer, painted with 2 coats of DULUX interior low sheen, and then a gold metallic finish is very carefully hand painted on for the final finished effect.
