21.01.2022 Lets hope that the future for the budding aviators is great as we need them more than ever

16.01.2022 Hi All hope everyone is doing their best through these non jumping times. To try and make things easier when it all ramps up agin, which it will. I am trying to my best best to help things moving along, if you have any rigging work that you know is coming up, get it too me now and we will sort it out and leave it in storage here till you need it (no payment required till pick up, no storage fees). If its just a re-pack leave it with me and it can join the queue so I can make ...sure it is ready for you the moment jumping starts again. I reckon when it ramps up agin a lot of people are going to be caught out with their gear not ready and the wait for rigging services across Aussie will be long. Remember check your AAD for serviceable, this one will catch some people for sure Take it easy people, Rory

14.01.2022 for all the skydivers out there for when we finally get jumping again. I would strongly suggest that you go and get your own legal advise regarding the buddy check (APF Op Reg 6.1.11(e). you may be asked to do. If there is an incident with a skydiver and you have done the buddy check you may get dragged in to a law suit. Absolutely wrong yes but that I am afraid is how the legal system works now days especially in Australia. You owe it too yourself to get your clarification dont rely on people to say it,s nothing to worry about. Even pilots dont get buddy checks before they go flying, work that one out.

14.01.2022 Not much to say other than full steam ahead and be seeing you all done at the DZ,s real soon

09.01.2022 Hi all, to anyone planning on dropping of any rigging work over the next three weeks please be advised of the following. If you have recently participated in any protest marches etc, stay away from the Bankstown Rigging loft for a minimum of three weeks, I cannot allow the chance of any cross infection at our premises, we simple have too many people working here. If you finds this offends you, sorry but the well being of workers here has priority, you will be asked to confirm that you have been following the guide lines regarding the Crovic 19 isolation procedures before you will be allowed to attend the BSK loft. If you want to send your work in by mail etc it will be isolated for 3 weeks before being worked on.

08.01.2022 We need to teach the new riggers while they are young

07.01.2022 14/365 - World Speedway Championships Display - February '87 at the Claremont Speedway...

06.01.2022 was getting a bit bored today (cleaning up) dragged out one of my museum pieces and had a brain fart. Why not re-pack it and see what it goes with a strength test (yea I know I am wasting time but WTF something to do) last packed about 25 years ago, rubber bands were stuffed, did a strength test on it (25 Lbs) and it passed with no sign of giving away, hmmm puts the 20 year panic that some people get about gear to shame. Might drag out the old wing and check that out soon.

05.01.2022 And this people is why I hate soft reserve handles, read the end!!!
