21.01.2022 To our valued customers Re: Aftermarket CZ magazine bases for use in IPSC Production division within Australia There has been some discussion in recent days across social media regarding the use of aftermarket bases in the IPSC under the current IPSC rule set (Appendix D4, D4a & D4b). We have received several calls/messages today & we would like to share a short summary of the information that has been made publicly available for your consideration.... IPSCNSW has published formal communication (09/03/2020 - attached) that contains the following statements relating to Magazine Bases Ruled Noncompliant. 1. 85 gram magazine bases do not comply with the 2019 Handgun rules for Production Division (PD), Production Optics (PDO) and Production Optics Light (PDOL). 2. "A standard magazine weighs 110 grams In response to concerns voiced by you our customers & friends Please see the attached product information pertaining to each of our product weights that we have manufactured & sold into the Australian market: 1. CZ OEM Basepad - Product weight: 46 grams - Installed overall weight: 106 grams 2. CZ Mec-Gar Basepad v1.0 - Product weight: 26 grams - Installed overall weight: 110 grams 3. CZ Mec-Gar Basepad v2.0 - Product weight: 26 grams - Installed overall weight: 110 grams It is our understanding through the IPSCNSW publication & from match co-ordinators that our product is not impacted for the NSW State Titles. We are requesting further clarification from our NROI delegates with the intention to have information available for sharing with you our customers for all matches until the General Meeting at the 2020 World Shoot. As participants in IPSC, it is a requirement that each competitor ensures that their equipment is compliant with their nominated division. It is our recommendation that all customers confirm their equipment is compliant with the above information. In addition, Precision Sports will have a representative available onsite during match registration for the NSW State Titles to provide any support/verification for our products.
