16.01.2022 Balconies are a high risk leak area, there are multiple systems in place to help prevent water leaks, some of these are - window/door reveal waterproofing prior to installation, waterproofing upturn prior to render being installed, glass balustrade spigots sealed underneath and over the top and also recessed drip edge angles to help prevent ponding water and to help direct water/efflorescence away from the building. These are a few of the systems that can help prevent future defects accruing.
