25.01.2022 Solo fisher, Brendan Morris celebrates. It's tough to fish alone and record your success on camera to share with others. In fact, taking pains to get it on camera can be a real pain. But it's worth the effort. Well done, Brendan. https://www.predatek.com/post/metery-yeah

20.01.2022 Win some, lose some. The losses weren't the fault of the ever-reliable Predatek MinMins and MicroMins. 'Operator error' was to blame. Never mind, that's fishing! :-)

20.01.2022 This is the second episode of a multi-part series on summer fishing action in skinny water. Team Predatek member Dylan Smith and his mate Heath Milne hiked into some tiger country and field-tested a variety of Predatek lures. In this episode, the focus is on the Predatek CB90 and CR90 Cod Bugs used very early in the morning when surface lures are productive. As the summer sun rose higher, Dylan switched from the Cod Bug R to diving hard-bodied lures. He tied on the ever-relia...ble Predatek Sandviper (a famous barramundi lure) and got crunched on the very first cast! Enjoy the video action.

Team Predatek member Dylan Smith and his mate Heath Milne hike into some tiger country to field test a variety of Predatek lures. In this episode, as the sun climbs and hits the water, they switch from surface lures to divers and continue to catch small Murray cod on Predatek diving lures: S85 Spoonbill and J80 Jindiv...ik. Enjoy the video action and insights into the use of these Predatek lures.

07.01.2022 VALE RAY MEPHAM Today we lost a legend. It is with great sadness that, having been asked to do so by his family, I am relaying news to the freshwater fishing fraternity in northern New South Wales and southern Queensland, that Ray Mepham, a pioneer of native fish conservation and propagation, has passed away at the age of 90 in Inverell.... In 1970, Ray was the first private individual to breed Murray cod in farm dams after the pioneering groundwork of the NSW fisheries biologist John Lake. In the decades since, Ray has been a force in efforts to restock native fish in the waterways of the upper Murray Darling system. To a large extent, we can thank Ray for the improved health of the Murray cod fishery in the Macintyre River above the falls, through Inverell, and into the headwaters. In 2020 Ray was awarded by the NSW Government for 50 years of service to native fish conservation. Ray's dedication to the task of native fish conservation has been second to none; he was known and respected far and wide. On top of that, he was truly one of nature's gentlemen. Ray was one of the finest men I have ever known. We will miss him dearly, but his legacy will endure and inspire those who follow to look after our magnificent native fish. RIP Ray. RIP Legend. Rob Smith (on behalf of the Mepham family)

05.01.2022 This is the first episode of a multi-part series on summer fishing action in skinny water. It's also published on the blog on Predatek's website. "Didn't see a boil at all, he just came up and lifted it." Heath Team Predatek member Dylan Smith and his mate Heath Milne hike into some tiger country to field test a variety of Predatek lures. In this episode, they demonstrate and talk about the CB90 and CR90 Cod Bugs. These 90mm surface lures are a great option for creeks, rivers... and impoundments. They're lively and loud. The Murray cod are not big, but they are beautiful, coming out of clear water. Enjoy the video action and pick up some tips.
