24.01.2022 Finally back into painting lures & preparing for the opening of cod season. One of my priorities at this time of year is to create my sponsorship colour for the Mulwala Cod Classic which will be held on opening weekend. This year as usual a number of colours will be painted & one colour selected for sponsorship. Attached are the colours i will choose from this year. More on the selected colour in a week or so.
19.01.2022 Just had a great week away fishing at Bermagui. Daniel & myself manged to tag & release 2 nice striped marlin (about 70-80kg & 140-150kg) & a bronze whaler shark of about 100kg. Unfortunately no fish when Jaqui, Des, Mick & Jim were on the boat. Some more footage of the Bermagui trip can be seen on Daniels Facebook page "Cuzzy bro's fishing" have a look some other good stuff on it also.
19.01.2022 The sponsorship colour for the Mulwala Cod Classic has now been completed. Since 2008 i have been painting a specific colour as sponsorship for the Mulwala Cod Classic. These lures are all individually numbered up to number 25 in both LG & SM. Numbers 9 to 21 are given as sponsorship & numbers 2 to 8 & 22 to 25 are sold as one off collector lures. Numbers 24 & 25 are the only lures that have not been pre-sold at this stage. This particular colour combination has been excellent in Lake Eildon since painted & i intend adding this colour to our range of hard bodies.

13.01.2022 Photo's of the latest batch of 190mm & 215mm Predator Surface Lures from being washed & cleaned to a group photo of the full batch after being pool tested & just before packaging. Most of these lures will be for sale at the upcoming Lure & Fly Expo in Ipswich on 16th & 17th June.
12.01.2022 Thanks to Jarrod Smith from Avenel area for sending this photo of his first metre plus cod caught on a small number 13 (black) hard body Predator lure. I believe the fish may have been caught in the Goulbourne River. Jarrod only got the one photo as he was more concerned about getting the fish back into the water. Well done Jarrod - great fish
10.01.2022 Had a great days fishing with a good mate on Monday & even better landed a couple of very nice fish as well. We also had an on water visit from the Victorian Water Police in which several issues were found with the boats safety equipment & also a personel issue. The water proof torch had a flat battery & the bailing bucket did not have a lanyard attached to it - which i wasn't aware of. The third issue along flat torch battery could have certainly attracted a fine however i must say these two guys were very helpfull & resonable with the way we were approached & until they left. So a big thumbs up to the Victorian Water Police, well done.

04.01.2022 A nice 83cm fish caught by Stu smith on Australia Day out of his canoe, he also had video of the catch which i havn't been able to attach. Photo's a few weeks old now but a great catch & thanks to Stu for sending the photo's to me.
