21.01.2022 In case you're wondering, it's generally called a "Sales Pop" and it helps provide social proof. It helps encourage people to check out, and to validate their point of view. If you're only adding two things onto your sales pages, they should definitely be a Sales Pop and chat/contact form for people to get in touch.... The real question is... Does anyone else quickly go to the product page after they check out so they can see themselves show up?

21.01.2022 Preface social media is all about... You know what, we don't need to say it. You know. We know. We get social.

20.01.2022 Are you trying new things, or doing what you've always done? Doing the same thing gets the same results. You can't stand out in your social media or customer service by doing the things everyone else is doing. Find your voice, your unique point and your own twist. It's what we do.

20.01.2022 Brand personality is important in social media. You can stand out from the crowd by having your own voice. Just don't let the voice become more important than your message.

17.01.2022 Every brand has a voice. And consistency is important in brand comms. But it's also important to know where you're posting. The voice you use in an email or your website might not fly on every social network you use.It needs to be a nice blend of the two. Preface has a voice. Right in front of you.

17.01.2022 Great experiences take planning and effort. Whether that's driving around the moon or delivering exceptional customer service. We're always here to talk about how you can deliver great service. You might need someone else if you want to send a rover to the moon.

16.01.2022 You can't always hope to reach your customers at the exact moment they need you. The key to good social media is to show up, be consistent and make yourself visible. If you're always on their mind, it's always the right time.

15.01.2022 Our Head of Social and Community had the chance to help solve a pretty unexpected problem last week. Deleting Facebook posts that just wouldn't delete. Turns out it needed the Facebook Graph API and just a little bit of elbow grease.... Read on if you want to see how it's done. https://prefacesocialmedia.com.au//workarounds-aka-when-y/ #Social #Community

14.01.2022 NYE can be a confusing time. Do you hashtag the year you're in or the year you're switching to? Sometimes we just can't tell. So this year we've decided to skip the risk and just celebrate a year we've missed from the past.... So from all of us here at Preface. Happy New Years 1923. Can't wait to switch to the Gregorian calendar next year. #NYE1923

14.01.2022 #socialmedia101 Don't write posts that assume people read the caption...

13.01.2022 Social media 101: Identify your images. People share in all kinds of ways. They use the share button. Copy a link. Hell, sometimes they just screenshot the post and send it to a friend. A watermark or visual identifier of your brand on your images makes sure it's always clear where to find you. And the good news is there's a lot of different ways to make an image yours. It doesn't have to be a watermark in the corner.

12.01.2022 Have a cat with a popsicle instead.

11.01.2022 If you want to connect with customers on social media you need to talk about the things they want to talk about, not what you do. "Buy this now!" feels like something you want to say, but how often is it what you want to hear? Preface is all about social, community and digital customer service. But we're not here to talk about us.

10.01.2022 In the spirit of reconciliation, Preface acknowledges the strength, resilience and accomplishments of Australia's First Nations People's. A day of celebration of who we all are is important. And that day should be for all Australians. We believe today is not the right day for that celebration.

08.01.2022 All your competitors are on social media too. To stand out from the crowd you need to be authentic. You need to focus on what makes you, you. Preface doesn't follow the crowd. Unless it's a line for a burger truck.

08.01.2022 Our very own Tim Hanslow is featured in Talkwalker's annual social media trends report for 2020. We're excited to work with a fantastic partner like Talkwalker, and to help shape where social media is going today, and tomorrow. It's not just about knowing what's happening right now. You need someone who knows where social media is going. How else will you be prepared for what's next?... You can check out the full report right here: https://www.talkwalker.com/social-media-trends

08.01.2022 The Ocean View Motel in Mollymook found themselves catapulted into the spotlight this week after a customer shared details of an unexpected charge for leaving a bad review. Is your brand prepared for an increase in negative conversations? Our Head of Social and Community Tim dives in:... https://prefacesocialmedia.com.au//early-checkout-aka-whe/ See more

03.01.2022 Preface Social Media Tips. Your audience is on social media to do their own thing, not to talk to you. So it's critical to provide value and engagement outside of just selling and promoting. It's not about making posts to promote unrelated events (PS today is World Vegan Day) but about talking about the things that matter to your customers.... When's the last time your brand encouraged a conversation?
