25.01.2022 Great day twinning and ageing 2000 ewes at Condobolin today. We seen fantastic results with 70% of the ewes being pregnant. Heading back again to rescan the dry ewes in a few weeks time. Fingers crossed we see great results again.

When scanning, I take notice of the sheep and inform clients if I see issues such as bad udders. As I have grown up on a farm, I understand that you as producers are looking to get the best out of your livestock. There are many ways that wet and dry scanning can help you to improve lamb production and feed management. By wet and dry scanning you will know immediately the number of sheep that are not pregnant. This means that you can re-join ewes on the same day or look at selling the dry ewes to save feed. By twinning, you are able to manage the sheep that require extra feed and aging the foetuses will make lambing in groups easier.
