22.01.2022 SOS! The cupboards are bare . We have been smashed with an increased request for toiletries and food in addition to our Christmas orders which are coming in ...fast and furious. We have no gifts for dads and teens boys aged 13-18 and cant continue to fill the orders. We are also in desperate need of: Shampoo & Conditioner Ladies Deodorant Sanitary products. If you have any Christmas donations at home, we would be grateful if you could drop them down. We are open this Sunday from 9-12! Xx

Parents sacrifice much for the benefit and future of their children. Life is enhanced through sacrifice. Love gives. We now have an admin ready to get the page back up and running and be here to answer and pass on any queries or messages you may have. ... 10.01.2022 Update from MSFIN HQ Orders for support and material aid have not slowed down. In fact, in March 2020, we saw a 60% increase in the amount of orders being fil...led. April is only 7 days in and we are receiving high levels of orders. The photo is only one of our five outgoing order racks - this included 3 Hampers of Hope for families fleeing domestic violence and 7 car seats for children who are currently not safely restrained in vehicles. Not to mention the clothing, linen, nappies and footwear packs. This is urgent and essential aid. This is a massive increase even in ordinary times, but we are functioning on a skeleton crew of dedicated volunteers who are working around the clock to help the families who are struggling more than ever. The challenges we, as a community, are facing are unprecedented and we are all working together to get through this safely. MSFIN is an essential service supporting the many families of our community. Right now, the challenges we are facing are dwindling stock levels, access issues for agency workers who have been instructed to work from home, and high levels of orders. 10.01.2022 We Need You Today, we received more orders for children who are living in a situation meaning that without the help of the MSFIN Christmas Service, th...ey will go without. Now, not only will a little one wake up to an empty Christmas stocking, but imagine the Mum and Dad? So many of our families are struggling this time of year, just trying to make ends meet. Imagine not being able to afford gifts for your children. After today, our outstanding orders look like this- 523 childrens gifts 212 Mums gifts 144 Dads Gifts 418 Family food hampers. We cant fill these without the ongoing support of our generous community. We have had to stop packing our food hampers due to a critical food shortage. If you are able to assist in donating any items included in our gift ideas for our families or even a few non-perishable food items we would be so grateful. A huge thank you to those who have been so generous and organised deliveries to our warehouse and dropped off amazing gifts. We are so thankful. Have you got a linen press filled with sheet sets you never use? We would love to take them off your hands. We have many families needing linen for their beds. We need clean sheet sets in bassinet & cot size, single, double and queen. Extra points if you bundle the sets together and label with size. Have a great week
