13.01.2022 Hannah Dahlen et al have released their long awaited paper today. . They looked at the outcomes of over 400000 healthy low risk births and followed the babies f...or 16 years. . Not only should the increase in inductions for no clear medical reason shock people, but also the longer term health outcomes on the babies who are induces. . Inductions are not benign but most women feel they are not fully informed of the risks . . It really is time we got back to only preforming inductions when the risks of continuing a pregnancy outweigh the risks of the actual induction process. .
