25.01.2022 Despite all the detail and technical information we’ve shared over the past 18 months, the videos our customer send us pledging their love of Holy Grail this is without doubt the most loved/watched/shared video we’ve ever posted! What can we say . two of the biggest sporting icons Australia has ever produced. One has the most race starts (over 1100), most race wins (over 200), the most poles (over 100) during his 50 year motor racing career the list goes on! The other,... pretty much the same in terms of his career achievements Plugger is an out and out Champion both on and off the field not to mention his 1360 career goals, the most ever by a player, Australian Sporting Hall of Fame! What do these fellas have in common? It’s their absolute love of cars . JB’s car thing is well known. Pluggers, maybe not so he’s owned some crackers over the years both from the Red and Blue camp. His big love is Aussie V8’s - he’s owned a few. He’s a big fan of Holy Grail and said after his run with JB ‘jeez that fella can drive, he makes it so look easy one hand on the wheel, he’s a freak’ All of that’s true, many judges would say that pretty much applied to Plugger when he played footy, for he too is a Legend! We’re honored to have the support of these guys, enjoy Plugger’s ride that’s the face of a fella having a great time. Be sure to share this one with your friends! Thanks boys . 24.01.2022 Well, here we are at the end of a year a year many of us might like to forget! Bring on 2021 and a fresh new start we say. Today is our final day and we’re closed till mid January. We already have a couple of builds locked away ready for our team to begin work in the new year! The Premcar SVT Holy Grail crew wishes our friends and family a HAPPY Merry Xmas and a M E G A New Year. Stay safe, take care on the roads and enjoy your time with family. Their message is simple, if you have a Holy Grail you gotta come to Targa High Country it’s so good on the course, it’s like Holy Grail was purpose built for Targa events. 22.01.2022 We got excited watching Jimmy’s video of Mt Panorama in his Holy Grail we figured we needed to take a drive to Bathurst ourselves. We took Holy Grail Driving Coach Chris Reeves and our clever Video/Content expert Andrew Maclean, both know The Mountain well. Quite apart from Chris’s role as Driver Trainer/Coach for our Holy Grail family, he’s still very actively competing in the racing scene. He’s been on the podium @ the Bathurst 6 Hour (class) and has a very deep knowledge... of driving and car dynamics and a degree in ‘Man Management’ So, he understands driver behavior at a high level on the back of a his 30 year stellar police career. Amac on the other hand is a very handy steerer (himself), he’s driven many of the biggest/best circuits around the world in his role of Motoring Editor/Journalists we had plenty of knowledge/experience to draw on. Amac creates motoring content these days and will shoot our event videos including Targa. Any time you have an opportunity to lap Mt Panorama you never knock it back . the weather was superb. A stroll along the new pedestrian walkway provides a sensational view back to the pit building complex, into town and the beautiful vista of the surrounding green rolling hills. We have lots of drive activities (planned) once the current social position improves, apologies to our Victorian friends who are patiently waiting regulations to change to get out and about. Enjoy a lap of the (one of the) most impressive pieces of real estate in motor racing terms in the world! Let’s hope they can run the Bathurst 1000 without too much trouble while we look to mid-November for our Targa High Country outing where Chris leads our Holy Grail Targa Tour group. 22.01.2022 As the year draws to a close, at least we’ve been able to have a little fun! We entered our Holy Grail in the North Shore Sport Car Club’s Tarmac RallySprint event and our final run is tomorrow night (Thursday) in the car park @ Western Sydney Dragways. This (GoPro) footage was taken last round with Andrew Maclean first run, he’s no slouch showing plenty of sideways action. Both Amac and Chris Reeves got plenty of slides going they elected to turn with the traction contro...l off while the others were instructed to leave theirs turned on! This is what Amac calls a bit of Holy Grail Thunder, a bit of opposite lock thrown in for good measure. Don’t try that at home kids . both Chris and Amac are very experienced are they having a ball? The game changes (just a little) when Big BOSS Hog Bernie Quinn arrives in town to join the fun. BQ said, ‘now the borders are open I’m coming up to have a run in the RallySprint gig I need to sharpen up for Targa High Country’ while packing his bag. Amac offered to step out (this round) so he can shoot more exciting Holy Grail footage while BQ will pair with Chris Reeves our Gun Driver Coach. The fireworks start at 6.00pm and finish under lights it will be a ripper night. Some of our blokes will meet BQ for the first time, we had to ship their Holy Grail home during COVID. We expecting a bit of back slapping during the night, maybe a bit of Masters v Apprentices. BQ is pretty handy behind the wheel . who’s your money on? 18.01.2022 This is what happens when you get boys together basically they have an urge to misbehave/stir or do silly/dumb stuff we’re no different! The decision was made to run the Holy Grail in the North Spore Sporting Car Club Tarmac RallySprint easy! We secured well known Driver Coach Chris Reeves who provides professional instruction at track days/drive days and is our Lead Driver/Coach in our Targa events so he comes with good pedigree! The other rooster is Andrew Maclean..., better known as Amac who’s one of the countries best motoring journalists/editors, video content producer and ‘part time gun steerer’ He also recorded and produced our 2019 Targa High Country video. Amac has plenty of good form and certainly is no slouch behind the wheel in fact he’s bloody quick! They are both good mates of Premcar Engineering Director Bernie Quinn. BQ suggested the guys drive HIS personal Holy Grail in the RallySprint event and it was entered for both as drivers. Our previous post shows the boys having a ball after BQ serviced his HG and put a brand new set of Michelin rubber on for the purpose. Following their runs on the night . here’s the message they created for the boss BQ! Nice, and he’s hard to get they certainly got him big time! There’s more fun to be had next Tuesday night (1st December) @ Western Sydney Dragway. Amac will create another video and we hope we’ll have some big news next time we post. 16.01.2022 We hope our Holy Grail friends and family are all keeping well - especially those in Victoria, it has been a crazy time. While our Vic friends have had to manage restricted movement, that hasn't been the case in other states. One of our family/friends sent us a link/post from our No 1 FNQ Girl .... Michelle Beresford. Seems Chel posted this video in one of her groups and it was spotted (by one of our supporters), we asked if it was ok to share with you guys - and we subsequen...tly received a few words from Michelle. She said, 'Thanks Hammo for posting this cool video of my Holy Grail XR8, I think it could almost be used as an advertisement for the Holy Grail! A big thank you to Conner from @forbidden visuals - love your work mate! So, it’s a few months of daily driving my Holy Grail and it continues to impress! The exhaust note gets deeper every day and sounds absolutely amazing inside and outside the car.... I just can’t get enough of it! Everyone who sees the car up close gets down on their knees to check out the trailing arm and to see how those 295s fit on the back! Thanks to the Premcar team again, I love my silver beast and look forward to many years of spirited driving' ... ends! 09.01.2022 Seems our pic post of James (Jimmy) Scott was a big hit we figured we’d share a little video he created from the same weekend. You gotta love his song choice quite appropriate! It’s hard to pic of favourite, the snow is pretty special or Jimmy’s do you reckon his run down the mountain showing off with a nice bit of over run. Whatever ever you choose, it great to see Jimmy out with his buddies enjoying his Holy Grail. Thanks to his club the NSW FVP Collective for your interest guys n gals. 09.01.2022 What an awesome event the North Shore Sporting Car Club run the - SummerTime Tarmac RallySprint event. What a blast we had, with the Bernie Quinn (big boss) in town we couldn’t have asked for a better night we did however receive our customary dose of wind and rain but all in all it was a cracker night! Interestingly, since the night BQ has been veery keen to see the time sheet, he says not because he’s competitive (well), he says it helps with the development (we’re not ...buying that one)! We remember how competitive he was in Targa High Country last year! It was great to have BQ in town, he brings such a good vibe and he was so pumped after his runs thanks to a little coaching from Chris Reeves and Amac our resident driver coaches. There is an early plan to run two more rounds in Feb and March depending on construction/progress of the new Speedway in the motorsport precinct. Our next (confirmed) outing will be Targa High Country in early February can’t wait for that one. Congrats to those who had a run in the RallySprint series and well done to the NSSCC and their band of volunteers who go well beyond the call to deliver a fantastic event. 07.01.2022 We hope everyone is well and ramping up for Xmas, we certainly are. While we’ve delivered a few Holy Grails recently we wanted to stay on our SummerTime RallySprint event theme it’s been a real cracker, the guys/gals are having a ball. It’s a bit of toe in the water for our group, importantly it’s safe and very well run take a look at the footage/montage put together by our man Andrew Maclean. Amac is the busiest man @ the circuit, he shoots the video between driving th...e Holy Grail and coaching some of our guys. He does have some help, our Holy Grail Event Driver Coach and Targa Tour Leader Chris Reeves shares the Holy Grail with Amac. There was plenty of sideways action in the Black HG (with traction off) don’t try that kids without mum/dads approval! The boys were certainly hanging it out It’s an awesome event, North Shore Sporting Car Club do a fantastic job and their volunteers (club members) are helpful and so supportive it’s very refreshing. Both Chris and Amac have done an awesome job in our Holy Grail we’ve had a few questions from Bernie Quinn asking where’s his invite to come up for a drive? So, at this point we’ve extended the offer and he might be able to jag his buddy John Bowe to join him if JB’s diary allows. He’s been on the road with the Bathurst Challenge, then the V8RaceFastrac days and yesterday was at Phillip Island in a Ferrari does he ever slow down? So, we’re very excited about next weeks RallySprint the Holy Grail has been a real head turner. Plenty of racers have called past our pits, ‘asking, what is that thing’ to which we just smile and say it’s a Holy Grail of course . there begins a whole new conversation! 06.01.2022 In these ‘quiet’ times people are searching for something they can do that isn’t necessarily group based . and it’s not so easy given we love hanging out with family and friends. Our buddy Jimmy Scott has a yearly Bathurst weekend with his Ford buddies in the NSW FPV Collective he’s been doing for a few years. This years gig was a quiet affair given the current social requirements but he couldn’t resist taking his Holy Grail for a blast. Interestingly, if you live in NSW y...ou might well know the region Jimmy and his friends took considering it’s part of a Holy Grail drive event set for the future. He’s from the coast in Kiama, so it’s up Macquarie Pass to Goulburn and across to Bathurst (great road via Crookwell). Then then mandatory laps of The Mountain with an overnighter in Bathurst. Then to the wine region of Mudgee and back to Oberon. Note to self, next time you need to check the weather pattern this time of year (before you go) because it can get a bit cold! Excuse me, cold try serious snow . need we say anymore? The weather is what it is, Jimmy said ‘the Holy Grail loves cold temp (of course) and was a demon on the drive. A few weeks in now, the car is so confident to drive, turn in and you realise you could have gone even quicker. It’s amazing, so settled and no nervous feeling if you fire what you would previously consider ‘a bit too hot’ it just goes where you point it. I still can’t get over the sound, I reckon it’s even deeper now and crackles and pops when you lift off I love it’ he said with a long pause. Jimmy’s favourite bit, ‘I’d have said the exhaust when I first took delivery it was awesome, now I find it super hard to identify it’s best feature. Is it it’s blistering performance, amazing cornering/handling/grip and ride or the insane sound? Truthfully, I can not choose one aspect over another . it’s is the complete package! I read what the motoring media said, about it being the Phase 5, while I’ve never driven any of the others . it’s hard to image anyone could ever improve on the Holy Grail’ Jimmy said finally.
