That last match race might not have gone the way we wanted as we struck issues half way down the track, but you still cant wipe the smile off our faces. 19.01.2022 Gulf Western Oils Nitro Thunder Cancelled Due to the Covid 19 / Coronavirus Pandemic, the Gulf Western Oils Nitro Thunder has been cancelled. With the limit...s on public gatherings currently, an event such as the Nitro Thunder draws large crowds each year. We have been working around the clock looking at the options we have available, but our scheduled track works slated for this year combined with the uncertainly around the time frame of the Coronavirus situation has meant that the Gulf Western Oils Nitro Thunder event could not be re-scheduled. We apologise to all our racers and fans however it is evident that we are left with no other option. All competitors and spectators who have purchased tickets will be refunded over the coming days. We would like to thanks Gulf Western Oils for their continued support over this difficult period and look forward to a return to racing as soon as we can.

12.01.2022 It might now be days since we were on-track at the Perth Motorplex but we cant thank everyone enough for all of their support over the last week! Everyone at the track, all of our fellow racers, and all of the spectators at the Perth Motorplex greeted us with open arms and we just felt so welcomed from start to finish. We must also say a special thank you to one person in particular this guy in the picture with Phil Lamattina and Peter Xiberras is Ray Treasure, the Track ...Manager at the Motorplex and without him and his dedicated efforts, we wouldnt have been in Perth on the weekend and the event itself would have been in dire straights after the track was heavily damaged by lightening strikes on the Thursday night before the event.
