22.01.2022 Friends, join us online tonight and hold our hand as we nervously hold our breath. THEM scored four nominations for Best Independent Production, Best Writing, Best Ensemble and Best Direction. Tonight, we can watch the 37th Green Room Awards Ceremony together and celebrate all the wonderful artistic talents not only of our cast and production crew, but of our larger arts community in Melbourne. We wish all the nominees all the best of luck and we know everyone is a winner regardless of final outcome. THEM received FOUR nominations for the The Green Room Awards Independent Theatre Category for 2020: director Bagryana Popov was nominated for best direction, writer Samah Sabawi nominated for best writing, a nomination for best ensemble and best production ye3ny everyone in our cast and crew gets a BIG FAT CONGRATULATIONS! We have heard the devastating news that La Mama's funds have been cut off and we need to stand in solidarity with this incredible theatre that has opened its doors to so many independent artists, embracing new writers like myself even if their work was deemed controversial in other places.
