25.01.2022 Queensland and Australia as a whole, should be proud of what we have achieved within less than 12 months. As of 4pm on the 17-11-2020, two hundred people can attend a funeral service. 25.01.2022 To all of our valued Families and Friends, Over the past few weeks funerals have changed to something we have never seen before (and hopefully never see again!) Amidst growing concerns regarding Covid-19, we would like to advise that we are still operating and following the Governments guidelines and regulations in regards to safe distancing and funeral gatherings.... As of midnight tonight a maximum of 10 people, including the celebrant and funeral staff are permitted to hold a service. Thankfully most of our venues and most venues have the option to Live Stream the service to those family members and friends, who cant come to the service. This is a complimentary service. Arts and Media industry and very much so those in the Funeral industry. Unfortunately families are having to farewell their loved ones with limited attendees and an inability to celebrate their lives in the ways many would like - surrounded by all those who cherished the deceased and would usually offer support to those grieving the most. I truly believe that in these circumstances more than ever, having photographic memories to document this celebration of life will be instrumental in healing from loss in a time of such uncertainty and isolation. A keepsake to enable sharing of the nuances and moments of the service with not only those unable to be present, but also generations to come. I want to assure you that I am consistently monitoring the COVID-19 situation and Government recommendations to continue to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of both my family and customers alike and remain committed to this with increased preventative measures and by adhering to strict standards for hygiene and cleanliness. 19.01.2022 Today marks the beginning of another new normal for us in our day to day lives, interactions and of course funerals here in QLD. We have come a long way since the 1st of March, 2020. As of 12 noon today all funerals are allowed 50 attendees, depending on the venue (due to social distancing) some attendees may have to watch from outside.... Everybody has played their part in dropping the curve of the dreaded Covid 19, so lets all continue to do the right thing and hopefully one day we can overcome this.
