25.01.2022 Queensland and Australia as a whole, should be proud of what we have achieved within less than 12 months. As of 4pm on the 17-11-2020, two hundred people can attend a funeral service. Social distancing rules will still apply. #roadtorecovery, #covid19, #brisbanefuneraldirector, #qualityfunerals, #packagefunerals, #oxleyfunerals

25.01.2022 To all of our valued Families and Friends, Over the past few weeks funerals have changed to something we have never seen before (and hopefully never see again!) Amidst growing concerns regarding Covid-19, we would like to advise that we are still operating and following the Governments guidelines and regulations in regards to safe distancing and funeral gatherings.... As of midnight tonight a maximum of 10 people, including the celebrant and funeral staff are permitted to hold a service. Thankfully most of our venues and most venues have the option to Live Stream the service to those family members and friends, who cant come to the service. This is a complimentary service. If you have any concerns or questions, please dont hesitate to drop us a line or call the office. From everyone at Premier Funerals, please stay safe and follow the Governmental advice. Together we can get through this ! #brisbanefuneraldirector, #packagefuneral, #coronavirus, #covid19, #oxleyfunerals, #currimundifunerals, #expressioncoffin, #phohoa, #heritageparkcrematorium, #buderimcrematorium, #funerals, #livestream, #funeralcelebrant

24.01.2022 Restriction on Indoor Gatherings A blanket ban on indoor gatherings of more than 100 people was announced under new coronavirus measures by the Australian Government. At Premier Funerals we will continue to provide our services to the community but we will need to abide by the current Government restrictions.... As a company, it is our intention to provide safety and wellbeing to the families we serve and to the staff and the community in general. Thank you for your understanding. In anticipation, any information or questions you may have in regard to our services please contact Premier Funerals on 07 3375 1455 (Brisbane) or 07 5493 5422 (Sunshine Coast). Further to this information we intend to communicate with you as things unfold. In the meantime, we encourage you to focus on facts, and remain calm and vigilant. Remembering it is everyone's responsibility to work together as we take the precautions needed to maintain our personal hygiene. We also encourage you to refer to the best available information, regularly updated by the Government. https://www.health.gov.au//novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov-hea https://www.health.govt.nz//dis/covid-19-novel-coronavirus

22.01.2022 The loyalty of Pets. All too often we see little furry friends overlooked in the funeral and grieving process. At Premier Funerals, we highly recommend making them part of the service and bringing them along.

22.01.2022 The last few weeks has seen unprecedented change globally, impacting everyone in one way or another, including those of us who are generally sole traders in the... Arts and Media industry and very much so those in the Funeral industry. Unfortunately families are having to farewell their loved ones with limited attendees and an inability to celebrate their lives in the ways many would like - surrounded by all those who cherished the deceased and would usually offer support to those grieving the most. I truly believe that in these circumstances more than ever, having photographic memories to document this celebration of life will be instrumental in healing from loss in a time of such uncertainty and isolation. A keepsake to enable sharing of the nuances and moments of the service with not only those unable to be present, but also generations to come. I want to assure you that I am consistently monitoring the COVID-19 situation and Government recommendations to continue to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of both my family and customers alike and remain committed to this with increased preventative measures and by adhering to strict standards for hygiene and cleanliness. These include but are not limited to: * Additional cleaning and disinfecting of all equipment before and after each shoot * Using hand sanitiser before, during and after shoots * Offering the ability to pay electronically via instant bank transfer and/or by entering your credit card online via Paypal * Social distancing as per guidelines ensuring there is adequate space between myself and my customers through the use of longer lenses etc I continue to remain positive and firmly believe that by working together to adhere to Government guidelines, services that may be considered 'non-essential' to some, but instrumental to the future healing of others, will be able to continue to be proceed without presenting any risk to themselves or the greater community. If you are experiencing or facing loss and would like to chat about Funeral or End of Life photography in Brisbane, The Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and surrounds, please reach out via messenger or email [email protected]

21.01.2022 Today, we are once again privileged to be assisting the Inala Vietnamese Catholic Parish lay to rest their beloved family member, friend and parishioner. Premier Funerals has had a long standing association with the various Vietnamese communities. May he Rest In Peace and perpetual light shine upon him.

21.01.2022 South East Asian funerals always have lots of Wreaths as a sign of Respect to the deceased and Condolences to the family. They each have a single or multiple Banner(s) on them, with the senders details and sometimes words of sympathy to the grieving family. It is always a spectacular sight to see such a sea of colour surrounding the coffin. #brisbanefunerals #oxleyfunerals #loganfunerals #toowoombafunerals #redlandsfunerals #goldcoastfunerals #vietnamesefunerals #asianfunerals #buddhistfunerals #luvuyen #phohoa #floralu

21.01.2022 Today we are lighting Candles in Remembrance of the recently departed and the families that we so proudly served. Light a candle, see it glow, watch it dance,... when you feel low, think of me, think of light, I'll always be here, day or night, a candle flickers, out of sight, but in your heart, I still burn bright, think not of sadness, that I'm not near, think of gladness, and joyous cheer, I have not left, I am not gone, I'm here to stay my little one, so when you light a candle and you see it glow and you watch it dance in your heart you'll know that I would never leave you even when you feel so blue I'm sitting up here with the Lord and now watching over you #deathcareindustry #embalming #funeraldirectorlife #urns #urn #crematory #mortuaryscience #memorialservice #orderofthegooddeath #funeralgal #funeraldirectors #funeralindustry #cemetery #crematorium #premierfuneralsoxley #heritageparkcrematorium #centenarymemorialgardens #memorial #memories

19.01.2022 Today marks the beginning of another new normal for us in our day to day lives, interactions and of course funerals here in QLD. We have come a long way since the 1st of March, 2020. As of 12 noon today all funerals are allowed 50 attendees, depending on the venue (due to social distancing) some attendees may have to watch from outside.... Everybody has played their part in dropping the curve of the dreaded Covid 19, so lets all continue to do the right thing and hopefully one day we can overcome this.

05.01.2022 It’s that time of year again! Even after such a tumultuous year it is always a great feeling to get out into the local community and give back in anyway that we can as a local business. Today Kim Huyen Bui and I, went to the local Nursing Homes and Canossa Hospital and donated Christmas hampers to assist their fundraising efforts, with all proceeds to go to the benefit of the Nursing Home and Ward MH3. If you are at Canossa Hospital Ward 3, Aveo Durack or Sinnamon Village over the next few weeks please support them by buying some tickets !

04.01.2022 Leaving Panic out of Pandemic By Dr Bill Webster I believe we will look back on the C19 pandemic, like we did after 9/11, as a time when the world as we knew it changed. The world will go on, of course, but how we see that world will be transformed. These are strange, scary times, and in such times people act scared and strange, which is hardly surprising considering everything seems to change daily....Continue reading

Due to the current restrictions everybody's Easter is probably going to be very different from previous years, but use this time to your advantage and do something that you have been putting off for sometime ie. read that book, do that renovation around the house, spend quality time with that special person, but most importantly " Stay at Home ! " It is a small sac...rifice to make to end these restrictions, so that we all can return to normal in the near future (hopefully). Our Office is closed over the holidays but we are available for appointments, if need be. For immediate attention please call 07-33751455
