23.01.2022 Can finally share this stunning brides gown. Congratulations Hannah and Trav I hope your wedding last weekend was perfect in everyway. Hannah brought a Grace Loves Lace and had it altered to fit perfectly. Having it taken in, hemmed and a small hidden bustle. Trav had his suit pants taken in to me more slimline than standard.... 23.01.2022 Hello friends it's nice to be back I've had a nice big break, had a chance to just catch up and relax. I'll be contacting and booking all of those I've spoken to in the last few months for fittings and taking on more bookings. However I will still be limiting the amount of work I take on so to avoid disappointment please book your fittings in advance. Cant wait to meet all of my new clients and see some returns. 20.01.2022 Congratulations to the georgous Bec and hubby Chris. Was a pleasure to do Bec's dress. I was lucky enough to look after her beautiful boys back when I worked in Childcare. How cute do they look all scrubbed up?! Bec's dress was totally re made. We took it in 2 dress sizes. Re made a short skirt for a fun reception dress and made a detachable longer skirt with train for her ceremony. All with a splash of pink. Congratulations to you and your family Bec. 20.01.2022 Big Congratulations to our bride Cecile. For her wedding. Wishing you both all the happiness You made a beautiful bride. Cecile rang me whilst choosing her wedding dress and only being a few months pregnant. With a few words of advice over sizes and style she chose this stunning gown. We were able to alter it without changing the style or shape to accommodate that gorgeous baby bump. With a little extra lace and silk, we made it fit in all the right places. This was a great alteration to do always love a challange or something different. Congratulations

15.01.2022 This dress Having known Kelly a long time I was very excited for this alteration. Kelly brought this dress online, it didnt need alot however it was too big, the neckline needed changing, and the lace placement needing fixing. Kelly decided to get rid of the ribbon waistband. We created a new one with the lace from the skirt. Making the lace fall more softly onto her skirt. The small change made it a totally new gown.... Congratulations Kelly and Joel I hope your wedding was everything was as you had dreamed. I know you'll have a very long and happy life together

14.01.2022 This one was a fun one... Not all dresses are possible to add in 2-3 sizes due to designs but this one we managed to come up with a way to make this dress 2 sizes larger and make it look like its ment to be. We used the original bodice and lace to make panels in the front and back the same as the skirt. Then using a plain tulle for the sides made new larger panels.

14.01.2022 Congratulations to Danny and her husband who we're married yesterday. I hope your day was everything you could have dreamed of. My last bride for 2018. Danny's stunning dress was this timeless french lace with a silk slip. This gowns slip needed bust darts added and to be taken in and hemmed. The dress itself needed alterations to the sleeves and back, making the lace detail sit flat on her back. Finished off with hemming the scolloped lace. What a dress to finish off a busy year

Luise brought her dress to me, needing to be taken in a full dress size. Hemming and had decided she didn't like the original high lace neckline. The old neckline was totally taken off and a new neckline made with the lace. A simple change made the dress totally different, and just the right amount of vintage for this bride. Mel was a quick alteration with only getting her dress altered 4 weeks before the wedding. A bust alteration was needed, adding in new darts and sewing back on the lace and adding extra bust cups. 01.01.2022 Congratulations Jess! Our last bride for 2018 in a stunning Jadore gown. Jess's gown fitted like a glove but her delicate lace sleeves were so tight she couldn't lift her arms enough to dance. We altered her sleeves to give her more movement and altered the hem for a softer look. Added a beautiful crystal detail on the waist band. Jess's dress was so beautifully fitted we didnt want to but a bustle on the back, so a bit of thinking we created some ribbon loops hidden under a seam that can go around her wrist/elbow while she danced the night away.
