While this may put a smile on their face for a moment, it only highlights how they are truly valued by the organisation. Giving your team cheap trinkets to make them feel better comes across as a bride, makes them feel cheap and disposable.... If your team is feeling underappreciated, unhappy or any negative emotion, as a leader it is your job to adjust the environment in a measurable, sustainable way. Don't try to bride your team's loyalty and happiness with cheap gifts. Give them an amazing environment to work in.
