20.01.2022 What do you think the market is going to do? This is the question that I’m being asked the most right now by both buyers and sellers. It’s not really surprising that the questions I’m being asked now about real estate, are actually pretty much the same as they were before COVID-19 suddenly came into our lives.... However, I feel that they are coming from more of an anxious energy...is our home going to be worth less than we paid for it or are we going to lose equity? With our homes and properties being the main financial commitment and security that we hold, it is completely understandable that the state of the market is top of mind. It would be fantastic to have a crystal ball to see how this pans out, but essentially I feel that it will be a little while before the effects roll through. My advice is to make sure that you communicate with your banks and accountants (I know, I know, I have been on hold for a long time too!) to ensure you receive the entitlements you are due and to take any steps to consolidate your positions.
