19.01.2022 Imagine you've sold your house and after a long month organising new accomodation, future plans, and the legal processes of the sale, you reward yourself with a hard earned family getaway. All seems well, late in the weekend you realise you forgot to arrange removalists and need to vacate your home in just two days. A call to Premier Removals saw a lovely family in Pullenvale avoid a stressful situation. Rising to the call, we delivered a move of a large family home with just... two days notice. A steep driveway, equally steep street, heavily sloping block, and some high end furniture collections meant it was a challenging move, but fortunately we were able to place our truck at the top of the driveway and complete the move in a timely and safe manner. After some work in disassembling furniture and repacking certain overfilled boxes, we delivered two quick truckloads to the family's new home, and by evening left them with their furniture neatly placed and beds assembled (ensuring they could enjoy a well deserved rest). 03.01.2022 A downsizing couple took Premier Removals to Beaudesert today to move some stored belongings from a storage unit to a townhouse, ahead of a bigger move out of a 4 bedroom home into the same townhouse. Due to a large volume of furniture and boxes, this two stage approach was on our recommendation, and will allow our clients to unpack boxes and decide on which stored items will go well in the new home, without feeling overwhelmed and inundated by performing a huge move on the same day. When downsizing, it is important to plan to ensure a smooth move and a comfortable start in your new, smaller home. 02.01.2022 #traveltuesday a recent job took us from Fortitude Valley to Redland Bay, moving a customer who had enough of the fast pace and expensive lifestyle of the Valley from an apartment to her family home. The building we moved out of presented a removals challenge, with a long walk through the corridors compounded by a longer walk through the underground garage, up a ramp to street level, and down a steep hill to the truck loading dock. Serving a one bedroom apartment we were ab...le to work efficiently using three removalists, one loading and two using our large trolleys to move items towards the truck. For two bedrooms or larger in these type of apartments it’s highly recommended to speak to us about arranging a ute as a ‘ferry vehicle’. Fortunately the unload was much easier, with a smooth driveway, wide doorways and a fresh Moreton Bay breeze making things easy on us.
