25.01.2022 Following on from our post yesterday showcasing our project at St Columba's School. Stage two involved the construction of the schools new administration facilities, the main feature of the development facing Kedron Brook Road and the central hub for the school. The first floor of the building houses the amenities and administration, while the second floor contains classrooms and general study areas.... Over the school holidays the demolition of the existing building was totally cleared. This was a key milestone in the project program as the existing building contained asbestos and could only be removed with the school unoccupied. When staff returned from the holiday break they were pleased to see only the flat level building pad, signifying that work on the new building was moving forward. Once the building was finished, staff that were previously relocated to a temporary facility started occupying the new building, allowing for the commencement of stage three of the project.

25.01.2022 The third and final stage of our St Columba's project was the demolition of the old Block 9 amenities building, including the removal of Asbestos from the site and the construction of a high level covered area with associated external works in its place. All Asbestos removal works were carried out over weekends or after-hours when no school student or staff were present on-site. This photo features the internal of one of the double classrooms. 25.01.2022 As the beautiful Brisbane skyline morphs into dusk, the Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) begins to pulse with a kaleidoscope of rainbow-hued colour. A 1200-square-metre ‘white box’, constructed of 15-metre glass panels and over 2500 lights, illuminates the night sky offering a visual wonderland for visitors to the riverside cultural precinct. And the team at Premis Solutions is proud to have been a part of its creation!

22.01.2022 Another fantastic project completed by the Premis team. This 1000sqm office fit-out in Fortitude Valley, focused on the end user. Comfort, ergonomics and flexible work potential, including sit to stand desking, were the requirements. The space also delivered an internal boardroom, staff offices, breakout areas, new PWD amenities and reception seating area. The fit-out was completed within a live environment with occupied tenancies above and below. The successful management and delivery of this space is a testament to the teams ability to deliver complex projects in live environments.

21.01.2022 Premis has been delivering commercial and workplace fit-outs for over 14 years. The team has delivered projects from single lobby upgrades to multi-storey refurbishments and fit-outs - one of our projects included the demolition and rebuilding of more than 3500m over three floors in Brisbanes riverside CBD and included a combination of materials such as timber veneer and eco-linear wall panelling, marble flooring, detailed plasterboard ceilings and the extensive installation of glass within office spaces. Competing priorities played a part in this project, including a high-quality design plan with a tight budget, and a short timeframe with complex staging requirements.

This relationship has spanned more than 10 years and we have delivered in excess of 50 projects to date. The most recent being a fast-tracked, 2 week turn around, construction of a new flipped classroom creating a flexible, interactive and multi-purpose learning environment for students. In addition two new student services open plan offices and a new kitchen/tea room were add...ed. The teams expertise in site management limited disruption for the client and students. The desired outcome, in the required tight timeframe, is testament to the skill of the Premis team involved. We look forward to our continued relationship with our great client Griffith University. 05.01.2022 We are so excited to share some images of the new flagship Bank of China, in the recently refurbished Market Square at Sunnybank. The Bank is spread across three levels and includes teller stations, private offices, waiting areas, working stations, back of house kitchen and amenities, boardroom, storage areas and bank vault. Premis also installed key signage and lighting, one of which was the entrance signage on level 1 - the Bank of China Logo was cut into the marble tiling with led strip lighting installed to illuminate the logo. Also featured throughout was beautiful custom joinery adding a luxurious and upmarket feel to the Bank.

04.01.2022 The Premis team is pleased to be working on the construction of the new flagship Bank of China. The team has worked tirelessly over the last eight weeks to deliver this amazing building and it is due for completion in six weeks time watch this space for the final shots. The construction/fit out process is in full swing with concrete topping, joinery, partition installation, electrical installation and the construction of a safety deposit box vault all taking place within the allocated timeframe.

04.01.2022 Premis was recently engaged to undertake the fit-out for Bank of China’s new flagship branch in Sunnybank, Queensland. This follows the completion of the newly redeveloped Market Square shopping centre, which now includes an additional 8,000m2 of retail space and over 300 car parking spaces. 01.01.2022 PROJECT SPOTLIGHT // TAIGUM STATE SCHOOL The Premis team has recently completed a project for the Department of Education at Taigum State School. The project involved the extension of one of the buildings to accommodate two new general learning areas. The Premis team has mastered the art of delivering complex projects in live environments and this project was no exception. This is what the Principal had to say At all times, Premis made workplace health and safety a priority.... Even with up to two dozen workers on site, we had no concerns for the well-being of our students. When large structures were delivered or loud equipment was being used, the contractor gave the school plenty of warning and used a number of strategies to mitigate the impact on the operations of the school. After construction, a full site clean-up left the area as it was before any work had commenced. 01.01.2022 Premis delivered a three stage build project at St. Columbas Primary school in Wilston. This project was completed to coincide with the schools 2017 centenary year celebrations. Stage one involved the installation of new infrastructure so services could be run to allow the relocation of staff. The works encapsulated the relocation of the schools security, data and power systems that supply the whole school as well as the provision of a new water feed and sewer. In addition to this infrastructure, the schools new communications room was also built. This allowed staff to relocate to an adjacent building that served as the temporary administration facility until the new building was constructed.
