We were lucky to have former AFL player and mental health advocate, Wayne Schwass and our Mental Health and Wellbeing Manager, Victoria Desouza speak about starting the conversation about mental health and mental health in the workplace. It was a fantastic morning, thank you to everyone who came along.

10.01.2022 Last week, Premium Health had the honour of welcoming First Constable Luke Bull and First Constable Callum Nathan and paramedic first aid trainer Richard Martin into our Hallway of Heroes. This award was presented in recognition of their lifesaving skills and training these members utilised within our community. Earlier this month, First Constable Luke Bull and First Constable Callum Nathan saved the life of an 18-month-old choking baby. Flagged down in their police vehicle... by the childs mother, one Constable contacted 000 whilst the other positioned the babys head downward along the length of their arm and gave 4-5 back slaps which freed a piece of food. We commend the efforts and quick thinking of these Victoria Police members in such a time-critical emergency. As the sole first aid contractor of Victoria Police, we are proud of two of their members in saving the life of this child. Both members completed first aid training this year with our paramedic trainer, Richard Martin. Well done to First Constable Luke Bell and First Constable Callum Nathan for their remarkable achievement in performing a time critical and lifesaving skill in saving a young child.
