21.01.2022 Outside dining - we’ve got you covered CUSTOM Stainless steel / glass balustrade installed for the @nixonhotel late last year. Custom 250mm x 180mm stainless steel base plates engineered and welded to 80mm x 80mm stainless steel posts. We then face fixed stainless steel channel to the posts to create a glazing channel with footings for glass. ... 22x posts each different heights ranging from 2000mm to 2400mm to keep a continuous level line to top of glass due to the fall of the footpath. Each custom glass panel was then raked on the bottom to achieve a continuous 100mm gap to underside of glass throughout. Due to having a carpark underneath we then pumped sikaflex underneath every single base plate to eliminate any water penetration. It’s this attention to detail that delivers results above and beyond our clients expectations. 20.01.2022 What a transformation One of our projects we wrapped up last year. Replacing a total of 42 panels of glass. All existing glass was non safety glass and alot of the panels had to be cut out piece by piece. This is where our skill of cutting glass onsite really comes into play. ... All up we removed 4.5 tonnes of float glass and reinstalled 5 tonnes of grade A safety glass. Backed up by 850 lineal metres of caulking.
