22.01.2022 Sorry, I've been rather slack posting, or should I say NOT posting our sankalpas. Doing heaps of exciting yoga OFF the mat activities with Transition Bridgetown. Photo is of a three year old showing Mum how to use our new Recycling Hub. Our sankalpa this week is. coincidentally, "transitions" We are focusing on the the transitions between poses, moving mindfully from one pose to the next.

18.01.2022 We are practicing equanimity this week.

17.01.2022 To honour the equinox (and the moon phase) we are working with balance this week. Specifically remembering reciprocity. (I just searched "reciprocity" on the net and was saddened to see the results. The best reference I can suggest to truly understand reciprocity is to look at indigenous wisdom eg "Braiding Sweetgrass"

15.01.2022 Our Sankalpa is Communication. Vishuddi chakra at the throat. Speaking and listening. Passing ideas through vishuddi between the head and the heart, so that when our heart wants to do something, the head can work out how to do it - or perhaps the head thinks we should do something, but the heart doesn't agree

14.01.2022 Exploring possibilities this week as we move towards the full moon on Friday. We could try gently moving towards some seemingly impossible poses? or possibly we won't do that :)

08.01.2022 We are working with the Samana function of Prana this week. Samana governs the digestion of ideas, food and nutrients. It is a well of energy centred at the Solar Plexus
