22.01.2022 Day 84 and I’m winding down the last few days of my #artistinresidence at #pressnorthprintmakers proofing some #drypoint polycarbonate plates. It’s a long time since I’ve wiped an #intaglioprint I need a bit of practice wiping the edges. But otherwise it looks like #drawing up some dry points at #Usk #urbansketcherstownsville might be the go as my ongoing commitment to #printmaking #chasingshangrila #drawntobali @ Mary Who? Bookshop

22.01.2022 Day 49 of #pressnorthprintmakers #artistinresidence and aren’t the days flying by quickly. Spent the day finishing off. Some #handcolored #monotype to pull together some #prints that weren’t quite there. Sent off #compactprints2020 and #printbankmackay exchange. Made #concertinasketchbook for #skanq trip to charters towers and ravenswood this weekend. And pulled together references for the #colourworkshop Only a few weeks before the opening of #chasingshangrila. Friday 2 October work from this residency. The hodgepodge it is at present. #drawntobali @canetoadhunter

I’ve finished another #sketchbook, lost my carry everywhere drawing case with small watercolour set and etching scribe and engraver. It is an ending of things and that means new things coming. Could be exciting. 18.01.2022 Of course I forgot to take photos of the opening on Friday night. Hopefully someone else can share some photos. The exhibition will be up till November 15 and people have been very generous and postive about it all. I also be working in the print studio there for the next few weeks if you want to check it out and/or say hi/and or ask questions. For those of you out of town here’s a shaky video of what it roughly looks like. Of course you don’t the visceral experience of descending into the bowels of the Townsville cbd but .....
