22.01.2022 There's a new data file out which contains a handful of the forthcoming release details. This may affect CX instructors - see below CXWORX is undergoing a name change to LES MILLS CORE as of release 41. That's how it's listed in the new data file. In some cases you may find that your existing CX playlists disappear. It's to do with the way the matching tries to work more quickly by using existing fixed data - and I never thought that a programme name would change... To get them back simply go to the ‘matching’ tab and tap the red-coloured ‘Reset manually matched albums’ item at the very bottom of the page.

14.01.2022 There's a new data file which contains the BP, CORE, and GRIT 'Nano' releases. And also GRIT 35 PPL-free because that's now apparently a thing.

08.01.2022 There’s (yet another) new data file out. The current status for each programme is shown below. If you teach GRIT please read to the end because that’s particularly problematic in this release. Release details present in the new data file: Attack 111, Balance / Flow 91, Combat 86, Pump 116, Step 122, CORE 41, RPM 89, Sh’bam 42 For the remaining releases:... Jam 95 - I have the song details but need the block structure information before they can be added to the data file. Sprint 22 - It’s present in the data file but the track types are probably not correct. TONE 12 - It’s present in the data file but the track types are probably not correct. BARRE 13 - It’s present in the data file but the track types are probably not correct. GRIT 35 - Oh, boy. What I’ve been able to piece together with the help of a couple of very helpful people is that this release now has the music tracks split into three separate folders with one for each stream. This differs from the previous few releases where all three streams were condensed into a single album. That allowed the app to automatically create the three separate streams for a release. However, it made it very difficult for those who built their own playlists manually which is why I suspect they’ve now changed it. However the format they now have causes a problem for the app. The issue is that all three streams have the same album name and each of them starts counting from track 1. Which means when you throw all the streams for this release into the app it will see three track 1’s for the one album. That is not going to match. There’s a couple of ways to work around this although I tend to be wary of adding in code just to handle a specific edge case. I’m leaning towards one approach although I want to think about it a bit more over the weekend. So please be aware GRIT 35 won’t be showing up before then.

04.01.2022 I’ve just been informed a few minutes ago that SPRINT 22 was updated by having an alternate track made available. That means it won’t show if you add that bonus track as the app is only expecting 9 tracks. I can’t update the data file for at least another 48 hours (as the State borders here finally remained open long enough so I could get to see family after fifteen months) so until then just remove the bonus track for that release from your device and the app will find the base 9 tracks of that release. I’ll make the change to that release as soon as I can get physically get back to the office.
