The showpiece business cards are duplexed Colorplan Mist with gloss black foil with a sculpted emboss through both sheets. 24.01.2022 On Wednesday we flew up to Canberra to attend Print2Parliament at Parliament House. Michael McCormack (Deputy Prime Minister) gave a short speech about the importance of the printing industry, particularly for politicians. There was roughly 150 printers from around Australia along with various Senators and MP's including Pauline Hanson in attendance. Our book that won Best in Show at the National Print Awards was on display. It was a nice reminder that Press Print, although relatively small, is having a big impact on the national stage.

24.01.2022 We are lucky that some of our clients have been able to work from home during the lockdown. Some great work has been produced in the past couple of months. We are back to full capacity this week and fingers crossed that the work continues to increase.

22.01.2022 Our bushfire fundraiser could not have gone better yesterday. With plenty of pre-orders from several of our surrounding businesses we had our work cut out to wrap up about 200 lamb, chicken and vegetarian souvlakis in under 2 hours. It was a great effort from all of our staff particularly from the guys on the spit from 8am and we managed to raise well over $2k. A big thanks to all who dropped by.

22.01.2022 The features of this beautifully designed book by The Hungry Worksop are almost too many to mention. The cover is case bound with Colorplan Pale Grey, printed with black and opaque white ink with a clear gloss foil. The dust jacket is offset printed with four colour 1 side and PMS805 fluro on the reverse with a formecut on the front cover. The text is printed on Silk Matt with inserts of Colorplan Pale Grey and Curious Translucent throughout. http://thehungryworkshop.com.au/

21.01.2022 Press Print can also do installations. This Christmas bookshelf advent calendar was produced and installed at the start of December last year. We printed and mounted vinyl wraps for the doors, constructed the shelves and handled the install. 15.01.2022 Take a look at the invite that was sent out for this year's Brownlow Medal ceremony. These were digitally printed with white ink and gold foiled on 3mm clear perspex. the slip case was printed 4CP with a soft touch laminate added. The medal shape was laser cut and the formecut and make up of the case had to be perfect for the foil to line up once inserted. Each one was also personalised with a matching envelope. Innovative design work from AFL Media.

14.01.2022 Our haul from the National Print Awards last week. 1 gold, 2 silver & 2 bronze from 5 entries. With our gold also taking out the International Judges Award for best in show. 13.01.2022 In our industry it's important to provide creative options for our clients and allow them to push the possibilities. Here's our laser cutter in action. Cutting an intricate pattern through 3mm draftboard with the end result. We can cut wood, acrylic, paper, leather and etch metal, stone and glass. It's even delicate enough to engrave in foods like chocolate. I'm sure designers can think of a number of creative ways this tool can be applied to print. #pressprint #pressprintlaser #lasercutting

13.01.2022 Since we brought foiling and embossing capabilities in-house over five years ago we have found that the applications are endless. Whether we foil on flat sheets to make up various items into boxes, tubes, book covers, etc. or we foil onto pre made products such as gift bags or envelopes we will give just about anything a go.

11.01.2022 This week Press Print farewells one of its own. One of our operators, Pete lost his battle with cancer and passed away last Saturday surrounded by family. He will be remembered as a great character and an avid supporter of Chelsea FC. RIP Pete. You will be missed by all of us here at Press Print. Press Print will be closed this Thursday between the hours of 9am - 12pm so we can pay our respects at Pete's funeral.
