A true pleasure to come across this classic piece of motoring... 1967 MGB fitted with rare removable fastback hardtop, Silver with black interior Incomplete restoration / conversion project Fitted with new ( from factory), Leyland 4.4 litre Box Terrior engine, a lightweight cast aluminium alloy cylinder block. Car was driven for approx 50kms whilst testing inlet manifold and tuning of carburettor These engines were used in the Leyland Trucks, so is extra strong with low compression of 8.0 to 1 and 298Nm of Torque @ 2000 rpm, ideal for turbocharging....in fact, twin turbocharging was the original intention. The car is not fitted with any turbocharges The engine is coupled to (an also brand new from factory), Borg Warner T10 (Gorilla) 4 speed gearbox to handle the power A custom built radiator is fitted. A complete exhaust system (from and including exhaust manifold) The car has been fully rewired. The bonnet has been modified to accommodate A carburetion system is yet to be completed An E Type Jaguar rear end with Jag splined hubs is included, (not fitted to car).
