12.01.2022 This little project started just before winding up 2020 for the year. What started out with Carl from Q’s Pool Hall in Butler saying I’m gonna need some shields or something to hang on the wall to recognise my competition winners turned into possibily one of my most favourite little projects to date. All it took was a bit of a vision and a couple of very simple questions. Your a pool hall aren’t ya? Why don’t I make you a pool table that you can hang on the wall? The lo...ok on Carl’s face was one of complete bewilderment. I’m sure he thought I was having a lend of him. With constant consultation with the client the final product is pictured below. Judging by the smile on Carl’s face when I delivered his Honour Board to him, He is one very happy client. 02.01.2022 Have spent the morning watching Alkimos Titans junior baseball teams. While the results didn’t go the Titans way, I witnessed some great developing talent. Keep your chins up kids, practice, practice, practice and the results will start coming your way.

02.01.2022 I was recently commissioned to create and produce a perpetual trophy by Alkimos SLSC. This trophy was created for a competition day between Yanchep, Alkimos & Quinns/Mindarie SLSC’s, hence the name of the trophy THE NORTHERN TRI CLUB CHALLENGE. The Challenge was hosted and very professionally run by the Quinns Mindarie SLSC on the 31st of January 2021. I saw some amazing young kids performing on the day of the competition and It was great to see so many participating on th...e day. Taking home the Trophy on the day was The Quinns Mindarie SLSC and it now rests with the club until the competition is held again in 2022. Building this replica Surf Rescue board was quite the challenge having to shape some very solid (40mm thick) bits of timber that were all sourced from local suppliers. The feedback received from the various clubs committee members (all valuable volunteers from the local community) and The Honourable Mayor for the City of Wanneroo Mrs Tracy Roberts was all very positive.
