20.01.2022 What a week. This timber deck was in desperate need of some repairs. Its was to the point that it could collapse at any time due to the wrong materials being used in the first place. Was patched up to look pretty but didnt fix the damage. The team replaced all perimeter beams and posts with GL10, with all cuts primmed so it wont happen again. What an effort!!!!

16.01.2022 What a massive week, pulled down a very very old deck, we were falling through it in some spots. We replaced all the posts with new treated pine, all new sub frame and new Fiberon decking boards. All concealed fixings to give it a very sleek look. Massive week from the boys battled through the heat an rain. Came up a treat.

14.01.2022 I always see posts looking for cheap work or why do tradies charge an arm and a leg? Well Ill lay it out. We dont get paid vacation, we dont get payed sick leave, we dont get paid annual leave, no carers leave, paternity or maternity leave, no pay on rain days, no overtime or bonuses for outstanding performance during the year from the boss. The skills we have were expensive to attain along with the tools/vehicles and the time invested in your job. The (FREE!!) quotes..., the ordering, picking up materials, bunnings Bbqs, time at your job including traveling either way. It all adds up. Thats not even looking at business finances like public liability, income protection, insurances, regos etc. We love being out own boss and I personally wouldnt have it any other way but that love that we put into your job doesnt pay the bills. While Im at it, dont ask for a cash discount and expect 10% or more! We have to pay GST on every little thing we buy. The only discount we can give is on our labour and who likes doing that?! So hug a tradie this Christmas. If they run their own show, hug them twice! Bring on our two week unpaid holidays
14.01.2022 Stolen from another page but its so true. Life of a tradesman We get phone calls all hours... We nip out and quote jobs all hours most nights We get the job, we go to work We make lists, we drive to merchants we pick up materials. We prepare jobs we are about to start, while in the same day finish jobs. We finish jobs so that we can get paid. Sometimes we chase that payment. If a job runs over we dont finish until late, we stay until that job is complete, Somebody rings, Ive a job needs doing asap, nobody likes to say no.. So as well as all the above we are now trying to squeeze a small job into a tight schedule that then takes twice as long as it should putting you under more pressure. Van breaks or your ill, Your now a day behind and have twice the work load. Sounds busy right? Now well chuck in a few more, Banking Books Accountants Clearing back of the van Sorting our units/yards Spending time with girlfriend/wifes/kids Cleaning house Food shopping Paying bills Seeing relatives Going to the pub Standard week of a tradesman. So before anyone writes on Facebook about tradesmen this tradesman that, he didnt come quote, he didnt answer my calls, just cut us tradesmen some slack and remember we are only human, we cant be in more than one place at a time, we do forget things but most importantly we do try our best!

12.01.2022 Another week done an dusted. Had a great week working out at Tabcorp Park Menangle (Menangle trotting track)Even got to meet some friendly faces!!!! Removing some glass Balastrate and constructing a new wall to extend there Legends wall. All work had to be done between race meets. Early start Wednesday morning after the Tuesday meet and all packed up, cleaned ready for the Saturday meet. ... We pulled down the old pergola an built this amazing pergola using insulated panels fitted out with downlights and fans from out great mates at #Wiserelectrical.
