23.01.2022 A massive congratulations to our very own Bek Verrier who was awarded the 2016 Tasmanian Emerging Architect Prize!! Bek joined the Preston Lane team in 2011 during her final year of Masters of Architecture (graduating with First Class Honours). Bek is a skilled problem solver with an eye for detail and a love of colour. She has played a lead role on numerous award-winning projects including Weld Street Alteration, Tassal Office, Sharkra Medispa and the UTAS Student Lounge. B...ek’s commitment and passion to architecture has extended beyond our office with roles on various committees at both a state and national level including EAT (Emerging Architects Tas), National Emerging Architect Committee; and AIA Tas Awards Committee. 22.01.2022 We are thrilled that our Kangaroo Bay Pavilion is a finalist in the 2018 Dulux Colour Awards - Commercial Exterior category! Winners are announced in early May. The soffit of the pavilion features ten varying shades of yellow, blue and green - revealing themselves once under the shelter of the pavilion. 16.01.2022 We have three projects entered in this years AIA Tas Chapter Architecture Awards! On Saturday, Preston Lane Architects presented to the five jurors and members of the public. Head over to our website to check out our awards entries - Milkmans Cottage (Small Projects), Spring Beach Getaway (Residential New) and Lauderdale Primary School Kinder and Classroom Additions (Education). 16.01.2022 COMMENDATION! We are very excited that the Kangaroo Bay Pavilion received a Commendation in the Commercial Exterior category at the 32nd Dulux Colour Awards! Judging panel comment: This is a beautiful piece of architecture, in form and colour, with the predominant shades subtly drawn from the hues of the surrounding landscape. The muted tones of the ceiling, in particular, are impactful yet understated, softly reflecting the coastal context.
