19.01.2022 Rana Erdal is very excited about joining staff, students and parents at Preston High School in 2021. Rana joins us from teaching at Copperfield College (Senior Campus) where she specialised in VCE English and Legal Studies. Prior, she completed her B.A. at LaTrobe before completing her Master of Teaching at the University of Melbourne. She now hopes to share her passions with students in the Preston High School classroom, whilst also contributing to its vibrant and diverse community.

17.01.2022 Scenes from last night’s performances in the 2020 production, Tiny Desk. An online extravaganza showcasing pre-recorded music, singing, dancing and musical theatre. What a way to celebrate at the end of such a disrupted year in 2020! Well done to all performers and so many thanks to the staff involved in organising, filming, rehearsing and everything else.

12.01.2022 Welcome Jordan Smith who will be joining Preston High School as a Health and Physical Education teacher in 2021. Jordan is excited to join our passionate staff and contribute to our school community. Jordan previously worked at Camberwell Girls Grammar School and can't wait to work with the students at Preston High in the coming school year.

10.01.2022 Welcome Alex Eastwood joining us in 2021. He is eager and energised to meet all the new students and families as the incoming Head of Cohort 2026. He joins our dynamic and devoted team as an experienced Science educator committed to the academic and personal growth of every student. After completing his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne, Alex undertook Masters degrees in both Neuroscience and Public Policy at the University of Oxford. Fervently passionate about scientific inquiry and public education, he is also keenly interested in languages, literacy, debating, public speaking, theatre, birds, trees and composting.

09.01.2022 Monique Eddy is thrilled to join Preston High School as a Health, P.E and English teacher in 2021. Graduating from ACU in 2020, Preston is going to be Monique’s first teaching role. Until now, Monique has been working as a myotherapist, having worked with the Australian Ballet, AFL and within private practice. After working to educate the public on their health and wellbeing, Monique brings this passion to the classroom and cannot wait to immerse herself in the Preston High School community.

04.01.2022 Welcome Beatrice Fox who will be joining Preston High School in 2021 as a Learning Specialist. Beatrice joins us from Albert Park College where she has taught both VCE and IB Mathematics. Prior to that she taught at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School and in the UK. Beatrice is excited to start at Preston High School and brings her love of Mathematics to support and challenge our students.
