24.01.2022 Team Preston Hire Racing travelled home with some silverware from our most recent karting championship weekend! Whilst we haven’t been motoring around a Supercars track for a few years, our love of motorsport is still alive and well with a number of our staff and mates who have continued to proudly race in the @officialteka Championship under the PHR flag. The final round of the year was hosted in the beautiful town of Orange, NSW and delivered some awesome results for the... team. Kart #15 won outright on both days (yes boys!!!), Kart #81 2nd in A Grade on Saturday and a solid effort by Kart #3 finishing both days. 06.01.2022 A tricky job done well! Our team had an intricate extraction of an expensive CNC Lathe over the weekend. It was a difficult process but thanks to our great team, it was successfully achieved without damage or incident The lathe was originally placed in the client's shed around 10 years ago however, over time, as his yard changed substantially, extracting the lathe became a much more difficult job. The extraction required sliding the lathe out of the shed on dollies over t...o the retaining wall. From there, our trustworthy SuperCrane 285 lifted it out and over the obstructing garden. The lathe was then lifted on to a tracked carrier, where it was tracked across the yard and up our plant ramps into the safety of the garage. A job well done that proves you can COUNT ON US.
