25.01.2022 Thank you to all the teacher’s who helped make this a great day, we enjoyed learning about our brain.

22.01.2022 Stranger Danger . Today in class our teachers will be reminding all students to stay safe over the holidays.... It is important to talk to your child/children and reinforce the stranger danger message. Some tips to talk about are listed below: Avoid walking on your own and instead walk with other family members, friends or an adult you know; Walk near busier roads and streets, or use paths where there are lots of people; Make sure your parents or another adult know where you are at all times; Always walk straight home or the place you are walking to; Know where safe places are - a shop, service station, police station, library or school. If you are frightened, you should go to one of these places and ask them to call police; Learn about safe adults you can look for and talk to if you need help, police officer, teachers, adults you know and trust; Don’t talk to people you don’t know and never get into a car with someone you don’t know. If a car stops on side of the road and you don’t know the person inside, do not stop and if you are scared call Triple Zero (000) and tell them you are scared.

11.01.2022 Make sure you ask your children about the wise owl, the elephant, the sifting sooty, the guard dog and the sensitive Octopus. We will be learning more about these characters throughout the year.

08.01.2022 Thanks to Brooke’s Canteen we have free fruit Friday tomorrow morning. All children can come down to the canteen in the morning and grab a piece of free fruit.

05.01.2022 Brooke's Canteen made FREE pumpkin soup today from our very first Prestons Patch pumpkin. Students absolutely loved it and were lining up for more. Thank you to Brooke's Canteen for making such a yummy delicious soup and supporting our school. NSW Department of Education #lovewhereyoulearn

04.01.2022 We wish all of our Year 3 and Year 5 students well today as they sit their NAPLAN writing test today. Try your hardest, do your best but always remember you are more than a test.

01.01.2022 Prestons Patch update... there are so many exciting veggies growing in the garden. Sweet potato. Silverbeet, carrots, purple and green beans, corn, cucumber, zucchini, lemons, pumpkin, strawberries, tomatoes and so many herbs. We’ll be holding a market day soon, stay tuned.
