09.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who attended our Como Town Team launch on Sunday afternoon at Comer Reserve. The weather was very kind and we had between 50 and 60 people across the afternoon get involved in a range of activities. Our Indigenous artwork workshop was a huge success, with people of all ages contributing to a collaborative piece of art. We also shared information on our Photography Competition along with some other exciting Millennium Kids initiatives, details on our Youth ...Board and other projects we have planned for the future. Special thanks need to go out to the Como Town Team Business Friends who generously supported our launch event. These businesses include Broadwater Resort Como, Fresch Restaurant Como, Grand Cinemas, The Karalee on Preston, Fiend Merchants, Jersey Jack Gelato and Preston Street IGA. For those not familiar with the Como Town Team, we are a growing group of Como locals, business operators and others with a collective goal of creating a Vision for the future of the Como Jetty, the Como Foreshore and Preston Street.
