For the role of Concertmaster, we are seeking a highly proficient and experienced violinist, with an excellent knowledge of orchestral repertoire.... 04.01.2022 From our friends at the Australian Youth Orchestra: Experience the Australian Youth Orchestra in concert this April as they combine their powerful energy and talent under the leadership of Benjamin Northey. The AYO Autumn Season will be held in Bendigo and Melbourne with some incredible repertoire in store; including Dvoák’s captivating Cello Concerto. Joining them to perform the work is renowned Australian cellist Pei-Sian Ng himself a former member of AYO! Tickets are now available for the below dates: - Thursday 16 April, 7.30pm, Ulumbarra Theatre, Bendigo - Friday 17 April, 7.30pm, Melbourne Recital Centre

03.01.2022 COVID-19 Announcement Dear Preston Symphony Community, In light of the most recent guidelines from the Australian Government and from public health authorities in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, the concerts scheduled for 29 March and 21 June have been cancelled. The 2020 Youth Concerto Competition will also not proceed as planned. In the coming months ahead the committee will evaluate the feasibility of a concert in September as circumstances change. We thank you all for support, and promise that the PSO will be back to deliver high caliber music to our community.
