25.01.2022 A timely reminder that Xmas food is not good for dogs. Wishing our beautiful Preston Vet family a wonderful Christmas! Take care. We will be closing at 6pm tonight and remain closed until Sunday. We will be open for 3 hours only then closed again Monday. Please be sure to contact the emergency clinics if needing a vet urgently.

24.01.2022 Juliet having a snuggle before her desexing surgery. Romeo's turn next week. Star crossed love.

23.01.2022 Just received this fabulous photo of one of our favourite patients Tyson. When David and Peter moved to the UK a while back, getting this big fella over there was quite a stressful experience being such a long flight. Tyson took it in his stride and we get regular updates which is so lovely. He has grown up to be 74kg! We are seeing a few more black russian terriers these days. They are quite a striking breed!

23.01.2022 Love at first spot. Billie and Murphy greeted each other like old friends even though it was their first meeting.

23.01.2022 So dog groomers are closed during stage 4 lockdown. "Discussions" on a petition (obviously trolls) state that groomers are unnecessary as vet clinics can groom your dog. Firstly, we are not even doing nail trims at the moment due to limited appointment availability, secondly grooming can take 2 or 3 hours to do properly and thirdly, do you want your dog to look like this? (Disclaimer: not our photo) This is how we dematt pets!

19.01.2022 Mikela and Eddie getting aquainted!

18.01.2022 Teeny tiny Rosie had some misadventure today. Her mum had puppy proofed the house but somehow Rosie found the rat bait that had been put out by pest controllers long ago. Quick smart her mum called and after a dose of our magic vomity injection, up came the contents of her stomach. Luckily it only looked like her breakfast but as you can see she is feeling all better again after having the antidote to the vomity injection. Now what's for lunch?

17.01.2022 When it's been a tough week and then this turns up in the mail. Thankyou so much!!!

15.01.2022 Just a little joy for our beautiful famies in the north of Melbourne. Hoping we all share this pup's optimism when faced with adversity.

15.01.2022 Well done Victoria. Double donuts again. This is Donut. We wish there was double of this donut so Gabby wouldn't hog all the cuddles!

14.01.2022 Dolly Joyce. Working the cute "can I go home now" look. Dolly, you can have anything you want and more!

14.01.2022 Julia and Fletcher's Christmas photo! Merry Christmas guys!

14.01.2022 Have we got our trees up? Share your misadventures here!

14.01.2022 Well that's gotta feel a whole lot better! Vets working together to solve lifes great mysteries. Little Jem was sneezing and had some discharge from her nose. Her regular vet suspected what we call a 'foreign body'. An intruder that doesn't belong. Without the equipment needed, they called Preston Vet for help. Jem had a scope today and this rotten little stinker was removed. Grass seeds are the pits!!! Often burrowing into paws. Can you imagine how that felt up your nos? Oh the relief!!! You'll be back sniffing the roses in no time Jem. Just stay away from that long grass.

12.01.2022 Thankyou to our beautiful clients for the Christmas wishes and gifts! Hope you all enjoyed the festive season!!

12.01.2022 Briana's super hero name is Kitty Nanny. This little one came in to head off to his new home and sure enough, the next orphan took his place. Kitten season.

12.01.2022 Getting some morning sun with Newton who has been in hospital. Fresh air and sunshine are an important part of recovery.

09.01.2022 Let's play a game! I'll start! The drunk guy at the end of the bar... followed me into the toilet and lay on feet.

08.01.2022 Run free little Scrappy. Dr Robin and his family said a sad goodbye to their sweet little girl this weekend. A little dog has left a giant hole. Sending love from all the staff and clients.

07.01.2022 Nene is feeling that fancy in her cone of shame alternative.

06.01.2022 This is a wonderful representation of time and grief. Grieving has many stages that everyone will go through. The timing though, is very individual. Amanda and Jason sent us this. Beautiful. When Dr Robin and nurse Bernadette helped us say goodbye to our lovely Lily the year before last, the company who you kindly organised on our behalf to cremate her provided some flower seeds when Lily was returned to us. We did nothing with those seeds for a long time, but when the pandemic broke in March we planted the seeds hoping to have something to look forward to in Spring. Now, here they are bringing us hope and happiness.

06.01.2022 This is a great idea post covid when we go back to work and don't have all day to throw a ball to our dogs. We particularly love Coffee's little happy dance in anticipation! What a cutie pie!

04.01.2022 Cleo is looking a little ruffled after having some dental work today! So adorable!

04.01.2022 Wookie getting ready for surgery. It's all a bit of a yawn really.

04.01.2022 Recently we have said goodbye to a few very special patients. It certainly leaves us sad but never feeling empty. When we get sent tributes like this you can understand why.

04.01.2022 This little sweety was just brought in lost! Microchip still registered to the breeder. Anyone recognise?
