Im also going to treat myself where I can - because we all deserve something special when we are being denied so much - the last thing we need to feel is guilty over the occasional mood boosting indulgence! Despite the lockdown we are allowed to process our online orders and will be doing this as usual (shipping with Australia Post instead of DHL though as I can do this quickly without having to sit around waiting for a pick up) So, treat yourself to some self love and check out De Stijl - as always sizes and colours are extremely limited so if this style rocks your boat, act fast!!!

24.01.2022 TRAMPA This is a video of me sewing the first component onto the first sample - this is very physical - despite the fact that I am sitting down! You can see how complicated just one aspect of the shoemaking process is - there is so much that goes into the making of each pair. Trampa has been so popular we have already had to do a couple of re-orders - at the moment we are reasonably well stocked so if you were worried you might have missed out now is the time to jump in (plea...se note size 37 and 38 in ivory are on re-order). In other news we have received-opened our flagship store The VAULT 389 - back to normal trading hours - we have enough space for 12 people to be in the shop at once! 23.01.2022 Adamantine - TRAMPA Well - our first run of this amazing style almost sold out in a couple of days - so poor Petr has to get casting quickly so we could put through an urgent re-order. Apart from size 39 in the Olive we are now back to being fully stocked - so if you were worried you’d missed out now is your chance! Designing this shoe was such a complicated process - creating this wedge component is something we’ve been wanting to do for many years and I think there were man...y moments in the process of its creation that @petrzly was thinking ‘be careful what you wish for’. First he had to make perfect masters - done on the 3d printer - then he had to make outside & inside moulds (which at one stage looked like they would take around 3 months to make for all the sizes! And of course left and right feet - so it was back to the drawing board many times. Then they had to be poured and de moulded before heading to our manufacturers to be glued & hand stitched to the uppers and then send back! But we did it! We got there and the results are amazing. TRAMPA is an exciting & striking everyday shoe - a stunning yet simple lace up for superb fit combined with a unique custom designed bright red treaded platform for comfort & fun. Such an easy shoe to wear all day. TRAMPA gives you unique & compelling style, excellent comfort and great fit. Who wouldn’t want to put their best foot forward in Trampa? Given how labour intensive these are to make it will take quite a bit of time before we put through another re-order so if you want these don’t delay (we have afterpay & zippay to make your purchase that much easier! 21.01.2022 COVID LOCKDOWN PART 2 - CICELY BOOT We were so good - and still, some of us are back here in a kind of Groundhog Day. Except this time round Im determined to do it in style - no more slobbing around in tracksuit & ugg boots as I navigate keeping my business alive! That worked for a while but wasnt great for the morale. As we slowly emerged, only 2 short months ago, I couldnt even think of what to wear - even putting on a bra seemed like a huge effort- I wasnt ready. Howev...er, once I got back into the habit and put the tracksuit away for good, I discovered just what a joy it is to make a bit of effort and work out s nice outfit to see me through the day - and of course a slash of red lipstick for some colour. Even working from home I have been wearing heels for the extra oomph they give me. Just feeling fresh and stylish, even if its only for you and your loved ones as you work from home, really has power over our emotions and our approach to our daily lives. If you feel good, you can take the bad more easily in your stride and projecting a positive outside generally brings us back positive responses. And of course, some of you are lucky enough to have freedom of movement!!! Apparently its considered gauche these days to post an amateur selfie on your instagram feed - but I couldnt resist - thanks to @style.shifter for giving me the idea on how to wear this beautiful scarf which Ive had in my wardrobe for aeons but have never been able to work out how to really wear - its also keeping me toastier warm! @robynblackmelbourne belt and fabulous new wool pants - and my DECO BOOTS in distressed silver which are going to be my winter staple...s this year as I love the extra height and they are super comfy (so comfy in fact that Im wearing them while nursing a knee injury I got from falling off the side of the van we were using last Friday to shift studios )be thankful Im not taking photos of my bruises!!!) 07.01.2022 TRAMPA - OLIVE We’ve just restocked Trampa in olive - for a very short period of time we have one pair of these in each size from 37 - 41. This colour combo is so great- the Olive green is just perfect and a great unexpected contrast with the red.... These shoes have been walking out the door faster than we can make them so if they are in your Wishlist don’t wait or you will miss out!!! It takes Petr quite a long time to make these fabulous unit soles as it’s a complicated process - then they have to head to our factory to be hand stitched to the 1/2 made shoe! That’s what I call slow fashion! 07.01.2022 I am from Melbourne after all - and of course we love our black - so today I'm bringing you my 5 favourite black boots.Pictured 1 is Zip Boot from our Classics collection - such a simple looking style but as with all things that appear simple - it took a lot of work to get right - every line has to be perfect - I think we nailed it. We had a client purchase a pair of these yesterday to wear with a long organza tutu - that's the power of a great pair of solid walking boots - t...hey can so easily add a level of edgy sophistication to every look! Picture 2 is Marlene RAAF boot -designed using the cut of a traditional RAAF boot - we've added crocodile print leather, extra large eyelets, curved Cuban style heel and motorbike tread for some added grunt! I love wearing this style for its tough femininity (and the extra 3 inches added to my height) - I wear mine with my tracksuite pants, skinny leg jeans and a variety of different skirts. Picture 4 - of course we couldn't leave out our Gaucho - with its distinctive silhouette and classic roots - Gaucho is such a versatile boot and another of my personal favourites - in fact I think I'm due for another pair! Picture 5 is Deco Boot which takes our Zip Boot to a whole new level (literally)! With its extraordinary 3d printed heel designed and made by the talented Petr Zly - perfectly balanced so that wearing these boots you don't feel like you are wearing such a high heel. I love love love wearing my silver pair - with these I can dress up almost anything! Picture 6 is Cicely Boot - made on our policewoman's last and designed for walking this is a winner - the perfect boot perhaps?
