08.02.2022 Friends! I have good news and bad news. And some more good news. The bad: Valentine’s Day orders are officially closed. The good: if you’re local (point cook and surrounds) you can order and pick up right up until the day ... Some more bad: I’ve decided to downsize my shop. I only have 4 cards currently up AND my positive affirmation cards for kids available to purchase at prettylittlepaper.com.au But let’s end on a GOOD note: you can STILL order anything and everything TWO ways. 1. Right here on Instagram. DM me what you’re after and I’ll make it happen. 2. In the shop! If for example you want 5 cards, just order any 5 and leave a message in the notes which cards you’d like. I’ll be confirming everything to ensure you get the right cards. This Instagram page will act as my storefront because I’ve posted everything that I have available for purchase This was a tough decision. It was even tougher to hit delete on 292 products after making the decision. This beautiful little company has grown into something pretty awesome. I never thought anyone would purchase anything let alone have my little doodles sit in some of my FAVOURITE shops with some of my favourite local makers and designers! I started PLP in a time of uncertainty when the world was really hurting to spread love through it. I wanted to fill everyone’s buckets and I had no idea I would overflow my own. In the process. I’ve met so many people and made some beautiful connections. I’m so so grateful. This is most certainly not goodbye as I’m not ready to let go. It’s just a little too special. But I’m also a little too tired and a little too maxed to run an online shop, a family and a kids yoga business all at once. SO. 11.01.2022 I’m a few days late (because I thought it would be too hard) but I’ve decided to join #thepatternchallengebymel I’ve been wanting to get into creating patterns for items like books and blankets and yoga mats and clothing. I’m in the early days and this is the FIRST time I’m saying it out loud. Because up until now I didn’t consider myself good enough, creative enough or even an artist at all. I thought I was late to the game and there was just no point. Well here’s me pushin...g through all of that self-doubt and putting myself out there. Taking the pencil from paper to the iPad has been one of the biggest learning curves I’ve ever faced. But I’m getting there. Today’s prompt is trees. I’m a bit proud. A bit annoyed it’s not perfect. And a bit excited to see how I get better every day as we’re uploading a pattern a day for the month of Feb. Eeks, this is hard! But I can do hard things.
