11.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the weather forecast tomorrow we have decided to postpone the March 7 Test & Tune / Race Ya Mate. At this stage, the event will be run nex...t weekend, Saturday 14 March. All nominations will be rolled over to next weekend, but if you can't make it, please just email us for a full refund. This is never an easy decision but with all forecasts indicating a high chance of rain, and rain currently falling around the region, we have decided it is best not to waste everyone's weekend.

07.01.2022 ~Valve action at 14000 rpm~ everything is beyond our wildest illusion... :-) P/s: look at 0:58 onwards... valve start spinning... Valve materials integrity & we...ight is ultra important at high rpm. Any valve float & collapse means severe damage to your engine.. The valves cycle at half the speed of the engine's crankshaft, so at 9000 rpm the valves open 4500 times per minute, or 75 times each second or 13.33 milliseconds!!! " The peak rpm that we can see here is at 14000 rpm, so the valve will open 7000 times per minute, or 116.66 times per second, or once for every 8.57 milliseconds. So how an F1 engine at 18000 rpm.-just like a strange illusion"

04.01.2022 A ship engine failed and no one could fix it, so they brought in a guy with 40 years experience. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom. After lo...oking things over, the guy reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine burst back into life. The engine was fixed! 7 Days later the owners got his bill for $10,000. "What?!" the owners said. "You hardly did anything. Send us an itemised bill." The reply simply said: Tapping with a hammer: $2 Knowing where to tap: $9,998 Don't ever underestimate experience.

02.01.2022 NORTHERN NATS 5 POSTPONED UNTIL 23 - 25 OCTOBER Well it seems inevitable that Northern Nats 5 will not be able to be run in May this year given the Coronavirus ...situation, so we have decided to postpone the event until October 23 - 25. We expect that this will give enough time for public event restrictions to be lifted and for the event to be able to run. We remain fully committed to the event and hope that you all do too. Any competitor or spectator camping passes already purchased will be carried over to the new date and tickets will remain available to purchase online. This is obviously a regretful situation but one which we cannot avoid and we wish everyone all the best in these crazy times. Stay safe over the coming months.
