24.01.2022 Hello, Hello!!!! Happy 2020! ( even though we are already nearly one quarter of the way through ) Ive had to have a bit of a forced break as I have been suffering with an absolutely awful dermatitis on my hands!!! And as most of you that know me, I dont do anything by halves . Have had a busy time though, celebrating my Husbands 50th Birthday with a great party with friends and family. Meg turned 18 in January and has started a new job. Fletcher has just turned 16. ...I had an awesome catch up with my sister Joanne from Brisbane seeing Elton John in Townsville and also with Ruby, now in her second year at Uni doing Vet. Have been working on some large mosaic love hearts, because I can wear gloves to do this. Gloves are my new best friends! BUT, Im back on deck and very excited to say that I am driving in from the hills to bring a Pop up Shop to the Wild Spark Event being held this Friday 13th at the Civic Centre in Mount Isa. Its a really great day, bringing rural women together, with Guest Speakers and loads of social interaction. There will be lots of Pop up Shops also. 15.01.2022 Ummm... this is what you call creative chaos!!! Pretty much D-Day to send my goodies away to the Bush Christmas Exhibition tomorrow! Heading to Mount Isa in the morning for my Bi-Annual haircut...super excited!!! I dont get to town that often now that Im living in the hills of Duchess . So posting my goodies tomorrow. Just want to thank all of the many beautiful people that have supported me this year. I know I have been a little quiet this year, due to once again,... my bad luck with my health. It has been a tough year all round to be honest, with my gorgeous Mum being diagnosed with cancer and having to endure 2 terrible surgeries to conquer this. We lost our little herd of nearly 50 cattle and one beloved horse in the floods, while we were stuck in Townsville in the floods taking kids back to Boarding School. ( and my 15 night stay in hospital with a gall bladder attack ) A HUGE shout out to the awesome nurses who looked after me I am so thankful to the beautiful friends and family in my life that have been there for me. And not only for me, but for my children. Has been a tough road for us these past couple of years. Thanks for always checking on us. Sending prayers to a beautiful friend going through Chemo... you can do this!!! God will look after you I know 2020 is DEFINITELY going to be my year!!! Bring it on. ( except last year, didnt get a great deal done last year due to the many upsets in our life! ) But Im back Baby...with bells on!!!
