17.01.2022 It is with much regret that we announce the cancellation of Pride Sports Festival. The team behind PSF are dedicated to bringing the community an event that is even bigger and better than our inaugural event last year, but unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not be able to do so this year. We know that this news will be disappointing for each of you, and it has been a hard decision for us to make. We would like to take this moment to acknowledge and than...k you for the support you have given us to date. Those who have registered for the Festival will have their tickets refunded in the coming days. Please reach out to [email protected] with any questions or queries. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation, but look forward to delivering a bigger and better Pride Sports Festival for you all in 2020. Kind regards Pride Sports Festival Team

16.01.2022 For this week’s LGBT Athletes Tuesday we’re showcasing Robbie Rogers, a retired US soccer player who has played for teams such as Columbus Crew, Leeds United and Los Angeles Galaxy. Rogers came out as gay in 2013 upon completion of his contract with Leeds United, making him the second professional Britain-based athlete to come out. After retiring briefly, Rogers joined Los Angeles Galaxy, and became the first openly gay man to win a major professional team sports title in the US in 2014. Robbie Rogers is now married with two children to writer, producer and director Greg Berlanti.

15.01.2022 For this week’s LGBT Athletes Tuesday we are focusing on someone a little closer to home - Fremantle Dockers player Ebony Antoni. Beginning her career as a basketball player, Antoni played state basketball for the Willetton Tigers, and has since gone on to play for WNBL teams such as the West Coast Waves (now Perth Lynx), Bendigo Spirit and Bendigo Braves. Antoni began playing football in 2016 for the Swan Districts in the WAWFL, which subsequently led her to being signed by the Dockers as a priority player for the first WAFL season. She has since won the Fremantle best and fairest award and been selected for the 2018 AFL Women’s All-Australian team. Ebony married her fellow Dockers teammate and captain Kara earlier this month.

14.01.2022 Pride Sports Festival wouldn’t be possible without the help of our amazing partners like Clifford Chance LLP
