We have had exceptionally good rains early this season to get pastures going and the last couple of weeks of great sunny weather to get an explosion of growth -this is good. 10.01.2022 CLIMATE UPDATE (extract from Cropwatch McLaren Vale) The Bureau of Meteorology has been consistent in forecasting a wetter-than-average May to July. What does this mean for our region? Good news. The forecast is that we are likely to have more than 312mm of rainfall between May 1st and July 31st. For context, if this rainfall prediction occurred it would be the wettest period in our region since 2016/17 and represents approximately 50% of our annual median rainfall.
