23.01.2022 One of my latest guitars is this custom build for Shaun Kirk!! Shaun is one of Australia's top Blues musicians. Having successfully released multiple albums, appeared at Bryon Bays famous Blues Fest, and achieved sell out shows across Australia and New Zealand, his incredible energy has spread like wildfire. During Covid-19 lockdowns, Shaun has played FREE weekly live shows streaming via Facebook and YouTube from his home studio. Shauns "Jackson Creek Jams" is heading towa...rds it's 61st episode this weekend! Shaun has kept entertaining, lifting spirits, sharing his energy and spreading hope during this shitty time. In appreciation I made him a 3 string fretted number plate guitar as a gift, something that may help him pass some lockdown time, and hopefully spark a bit of joy. He was definately appreciative and the most recent update is he's loving it. Guitar body is made of a 1950 fruit box Genuine Mississippi number plate 50+ year old fencing rail Deer antler nut Adjustable bridge Shotgun shell tops for volume and tone Shotgun shell primers for dot markers On the back we put an old key to remind him he got the guitar during lockdown.

20.01.2022 This is a non fretted 3 string slide guitar. Cohiba cigar box with a spotted gum neck. Humbucker pick up with shotgun shells as the volume and tone knobs. I used an old horse shoe for the bridge. It was built for a guys birthday before xmas. He plays in a well known Melbourne band called Sheriff. They have a horse shoe on their album cover. 19.01.2022 Thanks to an angel with dreads we had a great Tea Party last night. The guys were awsome and loved the guitar. I even got to play them a tune on my guitar.

12.01.2022 This is a fretted 3 string cigar box guitar sold a few weeks ago. The neck is hardwood from a 40 year old fence. Used cigar box for a body. Has a nice lipstick single coil pickup. Sweet sound. Was sad to see it go. Apparently i cant keep them all.
